KYB is a world leading supplier of shocks and struts to new vehicle manufacturers and the Excel-G is made on the very same KYB OE assembly lines, uses the same OE quality components and is calibrated to restore original, designed performance, not change it. The KYB Excel-G is a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design that includes every quality component that our global OEM products include and it is the preferred choice for Asian vehicles.

Review: Good ride, a little firmer than factory, install was straight forward - I choose the KYB Excel-G shocks and struts based off of recommendations from various Honda Civic forms. The price was right, a third the price that Honda quoted me for factory replacements. Ride is smooth and slightly firmer than what I remember when my 2006 Honda Civic LX rolled off the lot. I only have a month on these struts but expect them to last as long or longer then the factory parts they replaced. One recommendation is to do a four wheel alignment after replacing your suspension components. I am not a mechanic by trade but have been told repeatedly by various mechanics to have your wheels aligned after suspension and tire replacements.
