Can I use this for water sports?

Hello, the grips on the bottom are silicone. The sock is 98% polyester, 2% spandex. I would assume if in a pool/treated water, it would bleach/damage the socks. Not sure how well they'll do, we haven't tested them for "grip" in water, etc.
