the johnny b mode is perhaps the best styling gel that i've used. it works great for my curly afro, and especially during humid hot days. the only wish i have is for the manufacturer creates a scent free version. i simply do not like this scent at all and would prefer all of my hair products to be scent free.

This has been my go to hair gel for YEARS. The consistency is perfect and I like how if you want a stronger/thicker hold, simply use more gel. I have fairly thin hair so I only need/use a little for the right consistency to not have the individual hairs bond too much together. The gel holds well and I never suffer from flakes. What I like most about the gel is it gives off a great smell. My partner sometimes confuses it for cologne. Remember to close the lid after use and you will never have an issue with the gel going bad. 1 x 16oz bottle lasts me about 1 year.

Holds my son's hair all day. Not greasy but a little sticky. It leaves a nice shine not too glossy looking. It smells really nice and clean. A little hard to wash out.
