Has fan that helps cool which is big for electronics. Simple install and well built. Green indicator light for long distance troubleshooting

Yep, it just powers right up and gets me the 24v I need to charge some Lipos!!! The fan is always running but its not loud, nothing gets hot and it just does its job, highly recommend this for multi pack charging on a 25-30Amp charger like the HOTAS H6 or and ISDT charger.

It has only been a few weeks but it runs 24 hours a day. I hope it lasts a couple of years, but time will tell.

Fire hazard, not rated correctly.
Purchased to replace an existing 600w unit that came to the end of its service life. First one died 2 weeks into use at a maximum recorded draw of 453 watts. Both thermistors blew. Ordered replacement assuming it was a faulty unit. Replacement one failed a few hours into use under 250 watts of load measured from the wall. Blew both thermistors again and some traces caught fire. Replaced with a temporary meanwell 400 watt unit and has been working fine since. Will order a genuine meanwell 600 watt unit in the future. Avoid Chinese fire makers like this.

Fan is pretty loud
It’s a good power supply, but the fan is loud and runs continuously. Not a big deal for some uses but in my case it’s an LED driver so most of the time it is barely loaded and Would be fine without the fan. It would be nice if the fan was either quieter or temperature controlled.

Does the job at supplying the correct voltage and current, but does generate RF interference
I purchased this to power a 100W homebrew linear amplifier at 25 VDC for Amateur (Ham) radio. It does the job at supplying the voltage at the rated current, but you need to be aware that it does generate RF interference on receive (as you would expect for a switching power supply) . You can probably mount this unit in a shielded box with RFI inductors on the input and output leads, but I have not tried this.
