⚙️ Shift smoother, drive smarter — don’t let friction hold you back!
Prolong Super Lubricants PSL15000 Transmission Treatment is an 8 oz advanced formula featuring Anti-Friction Metal Treatment (AFMT) technology. It chemically bonds to metal surfaces inside manual and automatic transmissions, creating a protective layer that reduces friction and heat. This results in smoother gear shifts, improved transmission responsiveness, and enhanced protection under extreme pressure, helping prevent costly repairs and prolong transmission life.

Made a legitimate and immediate difference
I had taken my manual Veloster in to get a new door after someone hit me in the parking lot. Once I got my car back it shifted terribly. As a side note I believe this was most likely caused by a technician at the auto shop I took my car to either hot running my car or driving it without knowing how to drive a manual transmission. The gear lever was very notchy and in sixth gear I had to slam it to even get it to go into sixth gear. So needless to say I was pretty worried about it. I had heard of prolong in the past and so I bought it and thought might as well give it a try. I put it in my transmission last night and after I got everything button back up a cycled through the gears with my foot on the clutch and then I took it for a quick trip down the highway cycling through all 6 forward gears and reverse. And I noticed an immediate difference now I'm driving it again today and it still feels better I think it feels better than it did last night so it seems like it may continue to improve my shifting experience. I'm very thankful that I tried this product and I suspect you will be thankful as well. As I'm driving right now cycling through the gears I'm noticing no spots where it feels like my lever is getting hung up I noticing no I'm hesitation as I fully engage the gear It feels more like it's getting sucked into place as opposed to having to force it into place

Be patient with this it works!!!
1997 Dodge Diesel...Seriously, we employee a master mechanic with 35 plus years of experiance. He erviced the transmission in my transmission, adjusted belts changed filters and flushed the system. he also put a shift kit in it. Nothing was working I was in the market to buy a new transmision. I have had a lot of luck in the past with Pro Long products so I asked him iif it would work. He said it might and rolled his eyes. I though what the heck I have nothing to lose and everything to gain for $14.00. So I bought a bottle. I put it in the transmission and in about 15 minutes it mad a differance in the lower gears. I then drove to Eugene and the worst thing possible to me happened. As I was going through the mountain passes between Grants Pass and Eugene I started losing the passing or high gear at 55 to 65 miles per hour going over the mountain. I mean nothing the transmission just started spinning and lost all power. I was supper bummed. When I got back from Eugene I parket the truck for the weekend. We were out of riggs and I had to drive to Cave Junstion so I got in my truck and headded to cave junction. No Joke the transmission works perfectly now. I dont know if its just how long it took or what ever but wow. Its like I have a new transmission. I had read that it can take a bit or it all to work out and in this case it did. So if you use it I would say just be patient. This stuff is with out a doubt Amazing. Another product I found amazing is Steel Seel for head gaskets just an FYI. That one fixed my Subaru and was recomended by our Mechanic.

Great product
Like thier engine treatment it works wonderfully. I bought an older neglected Silverado and it had nasty dirty transmission fluid and wasn't shifting right. I put a new filter and fluid it it twice in a short period of time and was better but not great. I added this and it worked wonders. Used to not know whether to drop into 1st or 2nd sometimes and it would gradually slip into overdrive. No longer does that and you can hear it engaging into OD without hesitation.

Not a miracle cure but does seem to help
I have a truck with the notorious crap transmission so I didn’t expect much. I do have to say it appears to shift smoother and doesn’t feel like a constant rumble strip. It’s not a miracle cure but does do what it says it would. Will see if it lasts for any time at all

It did take some time to work, but it worked!
I have a 2003 explorer. 230k miles. I haven't done anything transmission related for the past few years as my mechanic was filling it from underneath back in 2021 and said a bunch of metal came out so I figured I would leave it alone after we added fluid. Last winter it started to downshift and upshift at weird times and sporadically and I had to make a decision. I figured I'd give this stuff a shot when I did a transmission filter replacement and a 5 quart drain and fill. So we dropped the pan, and the fluid was not burnt, but not red either. No metal either which I thought was strange. But it def needed to be changed. So I pumped in the transmission fluid and this stuff. And it didn't fix it 100%. I noticed that when driving, when it was upshifting, the gear would hang going from 2-3 unless I let off of the gas right as it was about to shift or was driving slow. If I was accelerating it would hang and rev high before finally shifting. But it was shifting better than before I changed the fluid and filter. So I just dealt with it planning on having to junk the car at some point or replace the transmission when it finally gave out. It was like that for months. Then about 5 months later, it began to shift normally again. Not 100% but pretty close. So I would say that if you give it some time, it might work for you like it did me. Not sure what it did or why it took that long...not that I am complaining. Just seemed like a long time to work, but then, I am grateful that it did work. So be patient if you can. If you do this and it doesn't work immediately and your car is drivable, maybe just wait and see before you junk it or sell it.

Great Product
I love this product; I have use prolong transmission and oil treatment for over twenty years. I use this additive on every fluid change in all my vehicles. Reason why. I had a 1994 Honda Accord, which I used the Prolong oil additive on every oil change. Then in 1998, my wife came home from work and told me there was a lot of oil on the ground underneath the car. I asked how much and to my supervised, she said it was enough that she noticed it by before she stepped in. When I checked the oil level, it was empty, and I asked my wife why did you not call me? Her answer was she did not think it was bad enough and had no issues while driving. Instead of calling me to pick her up, she drove home over 10 miles. Well, I expecting the engine to be seized. I had it towed to the Honda dealer and was told the main seal went out and caused the oil to drain out. The service rep wanted to know what else I used in my car? The maintenance manager told me that there wasn't any other damage to the engine, and if my wife drove the car as far as she did, the engine should have been distorted. I told him the only thing different was the use of Prolong with every oil change. He said never to stop using it and asked where I bought my Prolong. The main seal was under recall, so I paid nothing for the repair. I will always use this product, thank you Prolong.
