Iā€™m using them to mark seedlings, as they are too easy to misidentify without some identification mechanism. That being said, I put these little sticks through a harder workout than they would get if they were being used for their intended purpose. They are just wide enough to write on, and narrow enough to stick into a pot or pod with soil or peat. They are working well, although they turn dark after a month or so, but they are still readable.
