So easy to use and travel with. It’s saving me a substantial amount of copay/co-insurance payments not having to go in to a therapist for treatment. I love the convenience of not having to leave my home for therapy appointments. The most important fact is that it works taking care of my neck, back, arms and knee pain. The highly recommended this tens unit.

I have purchased 4 of these - gave 2 away as gifts. 3 are battery operated, one is a rechargeable (the one I kept). I should have kept the battery operated one so I bought another. The battery operated one has consistent strength through the treatment. It is stronger and just works better. The rechargeable one starts out strong but constant decreases in strength making me have to adjust it too much. So glad to get the battery operated one again. Works great for back and muscle pain. Powerful enough to make a difference. It's my go to for my back and shoulder pains after a lot of work in the garden.

My back went out (multiple lumbar herniations, surgery coming eventually but not quite yet...), arrived next day and got me back on my feet in short order! Great device! Easy intensity adjustment. In the past I've found other devices aren't as strong as I'd like/need, but this one is more than powerful enough.

This Tens 7000 is a good product. I tried most of the TENS stimulator and massage functions on parts of my body ranging from elbow, calves, top of foot, and hamstrings. The kneading, rubbing, tapping and other massage and TENS stimulator functions are strong, effective and mimic professional massage and electric stimulators quite well. No wonder it states it has sold over 3 million units and has over 100,000 reviews. So the issue for me as a DIY person was that it was not possible by myself to place or accurately place the electrode pads on my main problem areas like my mid to upper back, shoulder blades and hamstrings. In looking at the “electrode placement guide” on page 23 of the manual, I note that in fairness to the manufacturer, these areas of the body, not even the back of the calf, except for the lower back, are not shown. My bad. I should have considered this, but wanted to try this highly rated product, but also did not know exactly how the electrodes were and were to be placed [they are very sticky and hard to manipulate and place accurately IMO, not what I expected - but it therefore adheres well!]. I suppose if you had someone who could help you place the electrode pads on your back, shoulder blades or hamstrings as you are face down, that would solve that problem. But not everyone has the luxury of having someone willing and/or available to do this. But then this brings up another 2 issues. Whether you are lying on your back or especially on your stomach and using one or both channels, the length of the wire connecting the electrodes to the device is too short if you are taller than say five feet six inches and the electrode/pads are connected to your calves or feet and you are trying to see and operate the device at face level because the cord from tip to tip is only 45 inches long. In addition, whether you are on your back or especially on your stomach trying to relax your muscles and use the device, I would say it is near impossible, or you’d have to be some kind of contortionist to use the 4 electrode/pads simultaneously on say e.g. your calves on one side and on the feet with the other electrode. Does the manufacturer assume, or is this device meant to only be used sitting down? That’s OK, but many times, you, your body and your muscles are the most relaxed and amenable to treatment when lying down. Another issue for me, perhaps not for others [maybe depends on the treatment area], is that the 2 pads for each electrode is too close together and cannot be separated more than 6 inches apart because that is how far the “pigtail” wire splits. This makes the sticky electrode pad even harder to manipulate and set on your body part(s). But again, the pads stick well and there is no issue there; it relays the pulses very effectively. So bottom line, good product, just not really usable by myself DIY for my problem areas. Hence, 4 stars.

I started having terrible back spasms and pain and a friend of mine recommended a TENS unit. I purchased this one and it works great! Very easy to use with helpful instructions. Just attach the electrode pads to the wires, place the pads on your body where you need them, plug them into the main unit, set the intensity, and go! It has a built-in timer that you can control how long you would like to use it for. The company that makes this unit offers a warranty and you can also order additional items on their website like replacement electrode pads, etc. Using this significantly helped with my back pain (along with other pain management methods like NSAIDs and heat packs). It's a very useful tool to add to your repertoire if you have any kind of muscle pain.

Based on another reviewer’s advice I chose this model over the one utilizing AAA batteries, and I am extremely happy I did so. This unit, which runs on a single 9V battery is working much more effectively than even my best home-made versions. Having eaten dozens of honey-coated watch batteries of various sizes, rigging motorcycle batteries with the leads from digital ohm meters, and licking both 110 and European sockets with few beneficial results, this contraption is a real time saver, if even just no longer making weekly trips to Radio Shack for miscellaneous capacitors, transistors, etc. While the lead-core fly fishing line coils connected to a type 31 marine battery did indeed provide some minor neck relief, lugging the 75 pound battery proved to be somewhat inconvenient, especially on bowling night. Enter the TENS 7000 (I realize this sounds a lot like an ad for an upcoming Terminator movie, but that’s really what they call it) Having suffered some extreme issues stemming from the fact I have disks pinching my spine to nearly 100% closed off (I swear I’m not making that up) along with the fact I was born quite young, chiropractors and physical therapists have been a major part of my life for well over 30 years now. While many of them claim it was their manipulations which cured many a stiff joint or mis-aligned spine, I know from experience that TENS therapy truly works wonders. It truly does. With the exception of the time the doc’s assistant came in to turn the rapid-sine machine “off” and accidently turned it from power “2” to “Well Done” and having to peel me off the ceiling, TENS has provided much needed relief from massive muscle spasms in my lower and upper back; eliminated stiffness in my neck; reduced swelling in my neck; as well as made me a very rich man. Well maybe not that last one, but it’s not too late. Anyone who spends time at the chiro knows the joy of TENS therapy, but we also know the disappointment of feeling the power shut down just when it’s starting to feel like it’s working! Sure the doc has other patients in line, but we’re paying for US to get relief- let them wait! With your very own TENS machine at home, there IS no wait, and better yet, as long as you’ve got batteries, there is NO LIMIT to how long you can cook yourself to pain free!! (Disclaimer: I am not a medical doctor. I do have much experience as a PATIENT, and offer only my personal opinion stemming from that experience. If you have a serious problem, please consult a doctor or your local Salvation Army for proper assistance) I read about others who run their TENS constantly, and at full power- setting 8- and achieving good results. Let me tell you, I can take a LOT of pain, and I am running this 9V model at just below power level 3, and it is making my shoulder spaz out so much it resembles Kanye West at a Golden Globes ceremony. I am using my new TENS to relieve a frozen shoulder; after just 30 minutes of low-intensity therapy using the various modes I was actually able to lift my arm over my head for the first time in nearly a year. I swear I’m not making that up. I do firmly suggest that you DO NOT use the unit constantly however, as your body needs time to relax and “calm down” after a session, so based on my decades of experience I would say a total of 2 hours or so per day broken into 30-40 minute sessions will provide you with a quick idea of whether it will work for you or not. Others are obviously suffering different problems however, so you should consult with your doctor (or qualified airline stewardess) to determine what is right for you. That being said, I expect within the next week to be suffering from zero shoulder pain, no more back pain, and full restoration of my receding hairline. While this machine IS pretty cool, I doubt I’ll get down to my desired weight without having used it at least a month, and the cancer will probably require at least another after that. Good thing I also bought rechargeable batteries! The TENS machine is truly very sleek, and extremely well thought out. It is about the size of a walkman; unfortunately in fact, it resembles a walkman SO much that just this morning while out shopping I was hit with rocks by 2 young thugs who told me to “Grow up and join the digital age!” after spotting my TENS conveniently clipped to my Bermuda shorts. Another cool feature is that both the controls for the leads and the modular controls are each protected behind little doors, which prevent accidental changes to the settings while you move about. Very cool, as they are easy deal with when need be. The unit is also lightweight; I would barely know it’s there if it weren’t for the fact my face keeps changing shape as if I’m sticking my open mouth out the car window while traveling in excess of 90MPH on the highway. But darn, it feels so good. Overall I am extremely happy with this unit and wholeheartedly recommend it. Here are the Pros and Cons I have found so far: Pro: Surprisingly low cost VERY powerful Lightweight Attractive design May possibly double as a sex toy Variable modes, wide variety of outputs Easy to program and use Much more effective than string of holiday lights with tinsel replacing original bulbs then wrapped around body Con: Will only partially cook hot dogs at level 6; level 8 burns ends Easily mistaken for Walkman by local thugs Does not work after being pushed into uncovered cesspool May possibly double as a sex toy

This TENS unit is easy to use and provides excellent muscle relief and pain management. The adjustable settings, strong battery life, and effective stimulation make it a great value for anyone seeking drug-free pain relief.

This technology is very powerful and it works. I decided to use it for myself after doing extensive research and TENS7000 was most suitable gadget. Fortunately it is availble at affordable price. I purchased one in August and I again I purchased one few days ago. Vagus nerve stimulation is researched extensively by scientific community as autonomic imbalance is the root cause of mainy ailments. When life style modifications are not adequate vns technology is necessary for tackling issues. Essentially in simple words it is Pranayama++ The product was delivered in time and I got it from Klamp associates in half the price of what I paid for the first unit. I still find it difficult to believe the price difference. However, common people should be very careful about using this product for VNS stimulation. Especially stop using if heart rate drops abruptly below 50 or if any other discomfort is experienced.

My first impressions are that this a very well built device for the price and it exceeded my expectations. So far it fulfills my needs well. I’ve been using it for about a week and there’s no sign of the battery running out. My only wish for an improvement would to make the level adjustment more nuanced. I usually use a level of about three and a very slight turn of the wheel towards four makes it definitely too high.

I’m no expert with this type of product by any means. But have been using it a few days and find it very helpful for my back pain. For the price, I find it to be great value and decent quality. The pulse being emitted can be pretty strong too if required.
