Perfect tool for easily unfreezing the water dispenser tube. It’s reasonably priced, worked perfect, and alleviated the hassle of taking apart fridge components. Without this, I would have had to unscrew a plate cover, disconnect electronics, unscrew an additional internal cover, disconnect another wire, manually pull the entire water line out of the refrigerator door, thaw the tube, reinsert the tube by threading it back up through the door and reconnecting everything in reverse. Doing this isn’t complicated, but it is time consuming. Plus you run the risk of cracking plastic parts and/or damaging the hose as you yank it out and thread it back up through the door. When someone designs a product like this that fixes a common problem like this in two minutes, they deserve acknowledgment!

Bought a house that had a fridge with a water and ice dispenser. The ice maker worked great, but we couldn't get any water. Changing the filter didn't work, and even though I have a home warranty I wanted to exhaust all options before forking over $149 for a service call. I almost-boiled water in a kettle, poured half a large coffee mug, put in the hose, and drew up the hot water. It didn't get far up the dispenser hose before it stopped, and that's when I depressed the plunger. It took about a dozen full syringes to get everything cleared, but now I have a working water dispenser! The further up the tube went, the more water dripped down, so I kept a smaller cup under the dispenser and would stick some of the water buddy hose into the cup so it would leak into that. Definitely worth the price!

It actually worked! Super easy too. I had been dealing with the water dispenser of my fridge not working for weeks. Saw a video for this on YouTube and figured I’d try it. I had my water dispenser working in minutes after weeks without it working. I would definitely recommend!!

Worked great. Saved a call to a repair person. I wish I would have had this months ago. I've had ice but no water. Would have given 5 stars if the directions had more details. It took 6-7 syringes full of hot water to clear the frozen water line. Also, I put a towel on the shallow spill ledge to catch water coming back out from the water dispenser with each syringe.

Try this first. Fridge Water was not working. I put a small cleaning brush up into the line and it kept hitting something about 8 inches in. That something was ice in the line. I bought this and used hot water and it worked after 4 fills. Took all of 10 minutes. Easily saved $150 for a repair guy. Great product. Great place to start if your water is not working. Anyone can do this.

Worked perfectly! It took about 6 rounds of warm water before blasting through the ice. Water is flowing again! My only complaint is that on round three, the tubing popped off of the syringe and shot water everywhere.

Great Product! People with frozen water dispenser line should buy this. It only took 2 full syringes of hot boiling water to unclog my frozen water dispenser line.

Fair price and worked perfectly. Just be sure to use very hot water. I took several tries which I knew was going to be the case, awesome gadget to own now the next time the water dispenser line freezes I won't have to wait a few days for it to be here, I can do it right away only took me a few minutes very easy to use.

I was skeptical, but it worked. Took several shots of warm water to thaw the water dispenser line, but it did work. I also used it to melt the frozen ice maker feed and we have ice again.
