For USA use totally useless in UK why was I even sent this product.

This is a fantastic router. As someone who does small artisanal wood projects for a small business this has been an excellent addition to my tool cabinet. I read and watched many reviews on this prior to buying it as I had no idea what brand or type of router to buy. Right out of the box I noticed that it's lighter weight than a regular size router and easier to maneuver. This is a great product for anyone that's doing DIY or artisan type woodworking projects like charcuterie boards. The bits are easy to put in and remove. As a woman, I sometimes find that many tools are hard to operate with smaller hands but this router is absolutely perfect! I had never used any Bosch products prior to ordering this but moving forward I'll definitely be buying Bosch. Looking forward to purchasing Bosch router bits so that I can see how well they work with this awesome little machine. Highly recommend.

So I saw some reviews here that talked about difficulty of swapping bits using the 2 wrenches. Well there is a spindle lock that makes you only need one wrench as written in the instruction manual so don't let people steer you wrong here. Others I saw say the bit drops, I have not had this problem in any router once I understood why. If you bit has a rusty or non-smooth shaft you bit will drop no matter what, make it smooth with a buffer and polisher or fine grit sandpaper. Or do not let the bit fall all the way into the collet, the shaft should stick out a 1/16 of an inch or so till the blades. this keeps them tight. Good weight, speed control is nice. I used it for 20 minutes straight and didn't notice any mentionable heat. Instructions could be better if it explained the entire part about bits I just mentioned but other than that they work. Noise level is definitely better than my 2.5hp plunge router and less than the crappy HF route I replaced with this one. Can't say much about durability at this point or the sturdiness as I only used it for 20 minutes so far. But all hard wood and no issues yet

Me encantó el producto, es muy cómodo y maniobrable, los materiales se sienten de calidad y la fuerza del motor es muy buena a pesar del tamaño compacto, lo recomiendo ampliamente para realizar esos detalles en carpintería que requieren precisión. Es liviano y muy fácil de cambiar las brocas router, les recomiendo que lean el manual antes de usarlo, si es diferente en comparación con un router grande normal, así evitan accidentes y encontrarán una forma más agil de trabajarlo.
