The ball stays suction cupped in the flat position long enough to be thrown and then the pressure of impact breaks the suction. This is our second ball. The first one was bought at the drugstore and lasted a day before a silicone part tore and interfered with keeping the hard plastic part in place. Hopefully that was an isolated malfunction of the toy because this new one has held up and for several months so far.

This works just like it said, and it was really fun to play with.

The ball will not stay flat unless you add a little water to the suction cup, but then it may stay a little too well. It's okay for a younger kids who doesn't care about it staying flat.

I like the idea of throwing a frisby and catching it as a ball. I bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas. He wanted to try it right away so we did, however, it didn't work correctly. It would always pop back into a ball before you've had a chance to throw it as a frisby. I read the reviews saying that it worked best when the weather is warm. I'm yet to try it out in warmer weather. I hope it works like it's suppose to.

Well had this for about a week, kids played with it a few times and it's worn out. There are now gaps when it's in ball form, it doesn't want to stay in disc form, it just expands to a ball super easily. Definitely not worth the money. At first, like the first 3 times playing with it, it worked great, especially when it went on the roof, it came back down! Not sure how far it goes they only had a small back yard to play it in. Would be great if it lasted long. Also when you get hit with it, it really hurts and leaves welts easily.

I bought this for my grandson's fifth birthday. He had seen it advertised on cartoon tv and wanted it so bad. He unwrapped it and we began reading about it. It has to be warm weather for it to work.. It is April in Missouri and even though the sun was warm today the air was chilly. The ball became round but then it would not flatten again. It has a large suction cup in the middle that will only work when they are very warm. So here we are with a birthday gift that will not work. The child is so disappointed.. Lucky for me, I had bought other gifts. I would not recommend this to anyone that lives outside a very warm climate. It is not worth it. It is conditional and they do not tell you the limitations of the toy. Do not waste your money.

This is a fun item for the kids. Some people say they won’t stay pushed down long enough to toss it. You must follow the directions and then it will work well.

Ist ja ganz lustig wenn das "Frisbee" zum Ball aufploppt, aber einmal kräftig gegengetreten und das Ding ist schon kaputt. Und als Frisbee (wegen Flugeigenschaften) ebenso schlecht zu gebrauchen wie als Ball (fühlt sich an wie ein komplett platter normaler Ball, nur schwerer). Keine Empfehlung.
