Excellent power strip. This is my 3rd one. Even though the light won’t work on the switch it still operates as designed. And worth every penny. Just not worth the hassle to send it back over the switch not lighting up. Lol

I've got 4 of these installed in my workshop, house, and garage and they work great! Although there are lots of outlets like this available, this one has several features that make it easy to use and install: 1) The exposed screw holes on both ends are a huge bonus and make mounting these strips a breeze. Just 4 screws and a couple of minutes, and it's done - which is much easier than dealing with mounting brackets since I don't care if the screws are visible. 2) The outlets themselves are perfectly spaced for just about any application. I know there are other surge protector strips with more outlets; but, most of those end up being unusable because they're too close together. 3) The direction of the outlets is also correct for my usage. I'm not sure why other strips orient the outlets sideways since it seems like an up/down orientation makes a lot more sense. Personally, I'm a bit surprised there don't appear to be any other surge strips with these functions. Regardless, the price is right on these so I'm not complaining. We haven't had any reliability issues either, and they look great once they're mounted.

I bought this Stanley 9 outlet power strip in April of 2020 to mount to my garage bench. It is now July of 2023 and it is still working great and has never given me an issue. It probably has something plugged into 7 of the nine outlets on it right now as I type this. I have it mounted on the back side and forward facing on the under side of my wooden work bench. It is perfect for cable management allowing me to keep all of my power tool chargers plugged in on the shelf below and keep the cords at the back side of the bench that faces the wall. I also have a small air compressor that sits on the ground below the shelf that is always plugged in and ready to go. The only reason I'm writing this review right now is because I'm now looking to add an additional power strip for an additional bench and noticed all the negative reviews for this product. I'm not going to dismiss any of the negative reviews that were written. I'm sure most, if not all were legit complaints. It's been a few years since I purchased mine, but I'm gonna guess that I probably read through those negative reviews and figured I'd take a chance since I only paid $24 for it at the time and knew that I could easily return it to amazon if there was an issue right away. I see the price is now almost $45. That's a huge price increase in 3 years, but it's probably still worth it even at the new inflated price. I hope my review was helpful.

This is a very nice strip. I was a little concerned about the quality of the outlets in the metal bar. Due to the low cost of this strip I was afraid the outlets would pull out of the housing. However I was pleasantly surprised that they are very solid and don't even wiggle. Now I would have also preferred that the cord would exit the housing on the end rather than the side/bottom (depending on how mounted). But I knew that going in as the picture on the order clearly showed it coming out the bottom. But still..... My only...complaint (bit harsh but for lack of a better word) is that the power switch is a bit cheap. Even at this price point they could have included a quality switch but instead installed the cheapest switch possible. Even the $5 strips at the supermarket have better switches on them. To be honest it feels like I may break it if I sneezed on it. But....in my case I'll never have to really use the switch in the first place so I'm just gonna make a cover for it and leave it alone. However, if you are going to be using it where you will frequently be switching it on and off, you may want to consider a different strip. But if like me, you will just turn it on and leave it, this this should do the trick.

One of the things I love about this is the space between each plug leaves enough room for any type of wall wart or power brick style plug. I own three of these mounted to different work spaces such as a work bench, a rolling work bench, and on the wall in front of a Production desk. They’re fantastic, work with all of my needs, and each to mount via tabs on the side. My only gripe is the plugs themselves can be a bit tight and move when pulling too hard as they’re plastic, but other than that, it’s great for the money you’re spending.

This is a great power strip for rooms with few outlets. I have most of my bedroom connected to this power strip, including my 43” TV, altec Lansing speaker system, mini fridge, microwave, ps4, my entire desk setup including a MacBook Pro with two extra monitors, WiFi, roku, lights, I plug the vacuum into it when I clean. It’s great for a room with only two outlets located very inconveniently behind furniture. You can connect as much as you want, including other power strips, as long as you are mindful of how much current you are pulling at the same time. This device, and the circuit where it is connected, is rated for 15 amps. I have never blown the breaker because I actively manage what I use. I also use a window A/C or space heater, depending on season, that I plug directly into the wall. If I use the microwave I turn off the heater. Or if I vacuum the floor I don’t use either until I’m done vacuuming. The fridge runs whenever it wants to despite other loads but only pulls 100W when running. To be clear there is only one circuit supplying power to my bedroom and only two double wall outlets. One has this strip and either the A/C or heater. The other has my lamp and yet another power strip filled up with usb charging adapters. This has been working for my needs since the day it arrived and i have never had any issues with overheating or voltage drop due to high current. (About 1800W when running any of the major appliances listed above)

Great product overall. After I ordered it dawned on me that I probably should have read the reviews first. I was worried about some people receiving theirs and not having working outlets but mine all work! Although one side of the strips mounts were bent it was an easy fix with a pair of pliers. Both sides do have a plastic protection piece for my guess is to prevent them from bending but the side that was bent the plastic piece popped off and was floating in the bag. Not sure if it is supposed to come with mounting screws or not but I did not get any.

Review: Although I believe this is a little expensive for what it is, I LOVE it! This is my second purchase of a Stanley industrial power bar and I'd consider buying a 3rd. I have a lot of external hard drives and each one has a large charging block, so plugging them into a traditional power bar is problematic since sometimes there isn't enough room. This power bar completely resolves that issue since all the plugs are spaced so perfectly. It's also extremely sturdy since it's made of metal, so this will never break. Pros: - Build quality - Long cord - Perfectly spaced plugs Cons: - Price Score: 5/5 Conclusion: I would recommend this product.
