Steck Manufacturing 21870 E-Z Rest Door Hanger

Perfect tool for door hinge replacement on a 77 Trans Am. Unless you have a body shop this is not a tool you will use often. But when you do, it's the right tool for the job. Check the mounting pad on your jack. This didn't fit my one floor jack. It did fit my older spare jack.

Solid, sturdy, does the job. Not adjustable. The part that attaches to the Jack I had to drill. For the price, this is great. It works well for the occasional project at home.

Had to enlarge the hole to work on a harbor freight jack but it does the job.

Box was destroyed and missing cotter pins (maybe other hardware, too). Build seems ok and should still mount to my jack fine, but it's disappointing I'll have to buy additional hardware to secure it properly before I trust putting a freshly painted door on it.

Haven’t used it yet , box was beat up but product was all there and seems to made of good quality for the price, some people complained about the adjustments will see haven’t used it yet

I used this on my 1972 camaro z28. The quality was good, I have a modern floor jack so I had to drill out the mounting bracket to accomodate the bolt that holds my jack pad on. I also thought i needed more padding as this car is a driver/show car so i cut a pool noodle and mounted over the supplied padding. Still couldnt have changed my pins and bushings without this product.

Replacing the door hinges on a 78 Trans Am, that were fully assembled. Even with my son helping would have been impossible without this. It was a little awkward on the floor jack, so one of us had to hold it stable. It was well worth the money.

Received half of the necessary nuts and bolts, and had to cut out the correct sized hole for the jack attaching point.

It's a good product regular doors but it can not handle heavy pickup doors and it does not fits every jack
