Review
No longer human is relatable because of the unfiltered way of expressing things even as gruesome aas it is. Dazai paints humanness without shying away and in a way no author has come close.Read about it and also Gifted to friends several times (my go to gift for bibliomaniacs)One friend got trau-matized by the sheer amount of depr ession and expression and so I trau-matized him again with " Elie Wiesel - Night" fair to say it's gonna ask him some time to recover after seeing the bareness of what humans are truly like. While one of my friends ended up returning the same energy by answering the Dazai's book with Albert Camus books 1. The Stranger (an even stranger book ) and 2. The myth of Sisyphus, truly a tandem to Dazai's No longer human.Truly a classic.

Printing errors
The story was good but there are many printing words mistakes. The words are not properly printed which is a lil bummer but over all the story is very mature and understandable.

A bad print of the book
How you like the text of the book, it i s upto you. Right now, I am half the way through it. Book was received in a good condition, no problems about that. The bad portion is the print of the text. So hastily and cheaply done. No one bothered to proof read for printing error, and it is most probably a knockoff/ first copy of the actual book. Filled to the brim with typos that'll annoy you.So be prepared for it, because you'll find errors on every page. The font is big and paper quality decent enough.

Amazing book but beyond terrible quality
Amazing book, but the quality is beyond terrible, lots of missing letters, words. Typesetting errors all over, makes the book almost unreadable. The book itself is something that every one should read at least once, I would recommend buying it from another vendor/publisher.

Can't just relate to the Protagonist Internal World
Not sure if anyone should read this book or not. I can understand the author when he talks about others. But I loose him when he started talking about his own internal world. I can't just relate to it. Looks like it's very different in my case. Maybe a particular kind of childhood is responsible for such a vulnerable internal position.

Amazing read
If you're here after watching Bungo Stray Dogs, then you're not alone because that's also how I got here. Obviously, Dazai (anime Dazai) is a direct reference to the author of this work.I must admit with shame, I thought this was a book written as extention of the anime but I stand corrected, this was the original sauce.I personally loved it, but I can understand some may find Osamu Dazai's feelings and personality difficult to 'relate' to, but not all people are made to be related to. Specifically, this book is semi autobiographical and that MUST be taken into consideration. If you like books such as The Bell Jar or The Catcher in the Rye, then you will probably like this book. It's dark, and has no specific plot, mostly consisting of internal monologue. It's beautifully written, but it does take the right mindset and taste in literature to actually "enjoy" or seek value from, in any degree.TLDR; it's not for everyone. But it's good, and a short read.
