Well, problem averted for at least 30 mins of the WAY TOO HOT mode to the JUST RIGHT MODE, ending in well, let’s throw some ice in and have ice tea! It’s a great product and does hold a pretty good suction hold on top of cup.. and if you’re going from fresh out of tea pot hot, to just right to drink mode.. It gives you approx a 1/2Hour to do so.. Once you’ve taken the lid off and on often, the heat has gone out on its own.. I do not only recommend these for that reason, but it also helps with any spills that might happen carrying it to and from places. That and they’re so darn adorable! ( esp for Pink Flamingo enthusiasts!!)
