Great light for price...bright and battery life is good. We don't use it constantly just to check for critters before I let dogs out. Does exactly what we need it to do.

Love this spotlight, perfect for navigating rivers that snake through dark canyons on moonless nights (try running Black Canyon south of Hoover Dam without one!). Plus the S-O-S feature means that anyone with a rudimentary understanding of Morse code will recognize the repeating dots 'n' dashes. I will NOT leave the marina without this!

Only thing I dislike is that you have to toggle through the 3 modes to turn it off. It would be nice to have a selector for which mode one wants. But that is minor. I have used this to get out to the duck blind on the Mississippi River. I have been looking for a waterproof, floating, bright spot light to guide my way in my boat. This trip out takes about 15-30 minutes depending on where I’m going. I have left the light on for an hour after in low mode to have light before hunting time starts. No problem! I charge it regularly so I don’t know how long it will last. The charging light does not turn green like the instructions say, it just goes from red to out. I had 2 of these and both do that. The second one was an exchange because the firsts battery lasted about 2 minutes between charges. The exchange was seamless and the replacement came in 2 days. Now I love this light despite the initial rocky start with the first one. So far the best of several generations of cordless spotlights I have had for duck hunting. I use it around the house as well so it kinda a go to light for me so far. I gave it 4 stars because of the first light being bad.

I bought 2 of these for my boat and love the brightness and ease of use. I saw a few reviews that didn't mark this so high. I don't know why. It does exactly what the claims are and has a brilliant light that does the job very well.

We were going to put a very expensive light bar on our boat, but we decided to try this spot, instead. We LOVE IT! And, we have saved A LOT of money!! It is bright, reflects signs and markers very well, and it holds a charge for a very long time! Would highly recommend!

I was not happy with this spot light at all. It got hot real quick when spotlighting, naturally you will keep the spot light on for a few minutes while doing so and it shouldn't get extremely hot like mine did. Also, the light is bright, yes, but the lights is also so spread out, almost gives it a glare and not a straight beam of light like my other spotlight. And the distance the light goes is just terrible... It loses its brightness...my old spot light I bought from Walmart is way better and brighter than the one I got off Amazon. Same lumens so no that's not why there is a difference in brightness. Would like to return but I don't have the original packaging, of course!

This waterproof spotlight was the perfect addition to our sailing adventure. After sunset we brought it out on deck and we were able to see flying fish, a hammer head shark, and best of all, plastic. Nothing like a durable light to remind us that even in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the human race has left their mark.
