much better grip than the straight-mouth type. The jaws look hardened, too. NICE tools.

Irwin is a name you know for a reason .
Anything made by Irwin is a good tool .... not some cheapo 'ping-ping' brand that will break. Spend your money on the good stuff.

A tool that just works and works well
I own numerous Irwin tools over the years and this vise grip is a quality ease of use tool that just works as it should like all the Irwin vise grips I own. I trust this brand and have never had issue with them. After 23 years as a professional. It’s a no brainer purchase.

Replacement for an original in my tool box
Irwins' are the originals and my tool box is full of various sizes and style of this tool. There are a lot cheaper ones, but this purchase was to replace a 30+ year old tool that I had owned for the entirety of it's useful life and had rusted out.
