What is the shelf life of this product?

Exatly I don't know .But more than 6 months definitely.

Is it water based or oil based?

What I bought some time back, was oil based. But it is worth it, just go for it.

Where is the manufacturing date of the products provided? Wanted to order a few of them but couldnt find the manufacturing date

Neither I could find one on the bottle, I have discarded the outer package without checking for the mfg date
