Lavazza Caffe Espresso Ground Coffee Blend, Medium Roast, 8-Ounce Can

Very smooth tasting coffee. I don't want anything else, just this!!

Lavazza is quickly becoming my go-to brand for coffee. It's a bit more costly perhaps than some other brands, but completely worth it. I've been using the perfetto dark roast k-cups for some time now, which are also delicious, but I was on the hunt for a good espresso powder to make lattes at home. This was a great choice! The coffee is strong but not bitter, with a beautifully smooth texture. The flavor is amazing - real strong coffee flavor. One cup of this in the morning, and I don't find myself jonesing for another cup in the mid-afternoon like I sometimes do with other, weaker coffees. I highly recommend!

I'm not a HUGE coffee snob, but I did grow up in Seattle - and moved back a few years ago - so I don't often buy the "bargain" beans, and I always saw this brand as closer to that category than "gourmet." Well, I'm glad I gave it a try, because now I can't imagine spending twice - or three times! - as much, given the quality in this can. I did a (VERY unofficial) taste test with three friends, and only one of them chose this as the "value brand" espresso, and only when we did the straight espresso shots, without any sugar. In all other ways (double espresso with a cube of sugar, double shot almond-milk latte, soy milk mocha, and triple shot Americano), they either couldn't tell the difference between this and they expensive brand, or they chose this one as better! (For anyone interested, we were testing/comparing this Lavazza espresso made in a Nespresso machine, using reusable stainless steel pods with the standard Nespresso espresso pods. In terms of price, using this espresso with the reusable pods is about 30% of the cost of the same number of Nespresso pods/shots.)

I love this coffe

This is cheaper than buying in the grocery store and is the same quality coffee. Even when Publix has buy one get one free it is not as cheap as this. I know that may vary by where you live.

I'm a born and raised italian. This is a very common brand in Italy and the flavor is the same. Price is high compared to what it costs in Italy but there are obvious import costs and tariff so i can't complain! Love my genuine italian coffee. If this is too bold for your taste... try another lavazza coffee: "crema e gusto" it is sweeter (less bold).

i use this in a moka pot to make coffee, thats not espresso but good enough to be used as espresso, I usually consume nespresso and in comparison the coffee from moka pot does not produce crema. If you heat the water at the base till simmering, lower the heat to medium, and then add the filter with coffee along with the top reservoir, it will make really good coffee. I enjoy starbucks iced soy lattes and its like those times when i get a really good one, as if the beans were especially good that day or something, i seem to get that flavor every time with this, i.e. to say this is definitely better than their stuff.. it also has a nice sweet caramel nuance.
