Just Phenomenal
I almost never write reviews on Amazon, but I'm compelled to say something about how awesome this is. I almost didn't buy it b/c some reviews indicated that the noise was too soft - I find the noise level just right. It is the perfect background for my screened in back porch to dull out some of the random suburban noise. I really love it - super easy to use and assemble, pretty to look at and great noise level. If you are willing to spend the money, it is worth it!

Beautiful
I love this fountain. Pretty sound. The birds love it! The dogs love it (lol) I love sitting next to it while having my morning coffee. But I should have treated it with a clear coat of some sort. It is already starting to rust and I fear will not last as long as my previous fountain lasted. Bummer.

Updated ~ only buy if you like rusty water
Product had obviously been tested or returned as there were several places with rust. I loved the look of the foundation so I invested the time to wipe as much of the rust off as I could and my husband was sweet enough to apply 2 coats of clear Rustoleum acrylic to prevent further rusting. After this extra work, he assembled it and we fired it up after adding 2 gallons of distilled water. It isn’t as loud as I had hoped on the low speed but it is pleasant and relaxing. Also, noted that one of the leaves is welded on crooked, making the water fall onto the below leaf in a manner that makes it run outside and along the bottom of the leaf. Update ~ Hubby forgot to spray bucket so all of the water turned a rusty red. Cleaned it out and ran fresh water thru pump to clear out all the rust. Put 2 plastic bags in bucket to put pump in, but after 2 days water started to turn rusty again. I wish I could return this $150 piece of junk, but return window closed yesterday 😡 Loved the unique look and size of it just wish it didn’t rust so much

Had to get a replacement unit, but the customer service was great.
Update - 10 days later: I reached out to the manufacturer about the issue, and they were very helpful, first sending a new pump, and then sending a complete replacement unit to try to remedy the issue. The new unit works wonderfully, and while the pump is still audible, it is much quieter, and the sound of the water much more audible. They were great on their follow up and kept me in the loop the whole time. Original review: I was so excited about this fountain, and looking forward to listening to the water for hours. Unfortunately, upon getting it out of the box and put together, I found that it leaned way to one side. I managed to bend the metal to a generally upright position, and proceeded, figuring that this was probably a shipping issue. When I got it plugged in, however, the top leaf immediately poured water directly onto my floor. I had to reshape several leaves by hand in order to get the water back into the intended path. When I finally got it working as intended, I discovered, to my intense disappointment, that you can't hear the water dropping, because the motor is SO LOUD, even on the lowest setting and when completely submerged. It's a lovely idea, but the execution completely fails. Now all I have is a loud motor in a corner of a room that is supposed to be calming.

Definitely worth the money
Worth the money! Very impressive. I did put a coat of clear spray paint on it as soon as it arrived to hopefully prevent potential rust also put a towel or sponge under the motor so it doesn’t vibrate too much otherwise excellent very impressive.

would not recommend.
Avoid at all cost. Rusted out in just a few months even though I don’t live in a climate where rust is prevalent. Dry desert climate no ocean or salt for snow. Looks disgusting now and is basically trash. I only gave it two stars because when it was new and worked beautifully, it was a very beautiful fountain.

Very Mixed Emotions about this Fountain
I have now received two of these fountains; the first one arrived damaged, either happening before or during shipping. The second one was not damaged. Both arrived in the same long but not wide packaging. Aesthetically, the fountain is nice; unfortunately or fortunately, depending upon your point of view, it is nearly inaudible. You could have it in a waiting room, and it would provide a visual but not auditory spectacle, possibly desirable. If you want to hear the water in motion, this is not your fountain. And it doesn't matter how you adjust the pump, it is always virtually inaudible, and the flow is little effected, either, probably because the flow is constricted by the internal tubing. Now the bad stuff; the bucket is poorly conceived and even more poorly executed. It is made of thin metal which is either welded or soldered together around the bottom and an internal, vertical, seam. My damaged fountain arrived with a modest dent near the bottom and the bucket leaked like a sieve. Amazon's representative told me to just keep it rather than return it, so they sent me another one. I used (over several tries) about an entire tube of silicone sealant all around both sides of all of the seams (which was visible and ugly) however ultimately it did the trick and at least temporarily sealed the bucket so I could use it. Alternatively, perhaps one could go shopping and find another bucket or pot of about the right size and substitute it for the bucket supplied. If the bucket is not damaged in shipment or production, odds are that it will ultimately leak anyway as it is thin, appears to be made of dissimilar materials, and will probably corrode over time. This product as supplied is basically unshippable at acceptable cost, which is what Amazon is running up against. Suggestions for the manufacturer would be to cut the "tower" of leaves into 3 or 4 sections instead of just 2 for shipping, and to construct the bucket out of different more robust materials that are not simply welded or soldered together for long lasting service. If the tower section is in 3 or 4 pieces, perhaps the product can be packaged differently to better protect the contents. Overall, a nice fountain, however with significant challenges.

TALL FOUNTAIN NOT WORKING? IT MAY NEED A PUMP WITH GREATER GPH
I now have THREE of these Alpine fountains in different areas of my yard.Finches, Wrens, Titmice, and other tiny birds--even a Yellow-Bellied Sap Sucker!-- flit from branches and bushes on the patio to two of the fountains, seeming to play tag as they happily chirp and take turns splashing in the "leaves." Meanwhile, Cardinals, Blue Jays and Robbins squeeze their larger bodies onto the base and revel in the stream. The Alpine fountain is well made of sturdy materials, easy to assemble and clean, and will bring hours of pleasure in warm weather months to you and your feathered buddies--promise! I do not use the fountains as indoor decor, but the flow can be adjusted to avoid splashing. ADDED 9/25: HOWEVER....if you find that your fountain is not working properly, a more powerful pump may be the answer, according to the wonderful plumber who fixed each of my fountains. He told me to order a pump with a GPH between 5.0 and 9.0. I ORDERED 3 JEBAO FA-3000, 55W; 700 GPH; 9.2 Feet, and now all three tall "leaf" Alpine fountains are working perfectly. So, don't curse your tall fountain, just buy it a bigger pump from Amazon!
