I have tried a few different straps with pick pockets, but invariably the pocket is either so deep and tight that the picks are hard to get out, or (more often) they end up falling all over the floor the minute you take off the guitar and put it in the stand. Threading a pick between the strings is fine, if you only use one style, don't want a backup, and never need to put it down to play finger style.These little dohickeys solve the problem. They are made of a rubbery material that is soft enough not to scratch your finish, but firm enough to remain sturdy. They slide into place between the strings easily on both 3-a-side and 6-a-side setups, and also work well on my basses. Each one holds 2 picks, and seems to work fine with both the medium celluloid picks and the 1mm little Stubby style picks I've tried. The only issue I've had is that on ONE of my guitars, it sits in just the wrong position, and my picks get knocked off when I hang the guitar on the wall on a headstock hanger. I will definitely be ordering them for all my guitars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job for guitar and mandolin *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2021* I use a Paige capo on my guitar which lives on the headstock behind the nut when not in use and interferes with the pick holder if it is installed between the 3rd and 4th strings. I was able to put it between the 2nd and 3rd string back from the nut a bit and it works OK. Tried it on a different guitar that I usually keep hanging up, and the hanger hit the picks in the holder no matter what I tried. Otherwise, worked well and gripped a .88 pick reasonably well, and will be useful when performing to hold a spare.Tried it on a mandolin with a 1.4 primetone and gripped that extremely tightly. Took two hands to push it in but came out easily enough when needed. Again, good to hold a spare while playing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great on my acoustics *by R***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2021* Holds two picks well even when I play hard. Doesn't fit as nicely on my 12 string since the multiple strings move it back from the headstock nut a bit farther, but it does work. On my 6 string nylon, it ends being right up against the nut which slightly interferes with my fingers. I might play with placement between other strings on that guitar in order to try and move it up the headstock a bit more.
