Biscottea Cookies - 8 cookies per box
We love these cookies but Amazon always delivers them in paper envelopes so the cookie boxes get crushed in Amazon’s delivery trucks, hence some of cookies are always broken! For the price point they should be shipped in a mailing box since the actual cookies are in a thin cardboard box.

Traditional flavor tested by an expert
My 90 year old mother (born in Motherwell) has taste-tested this traditional shortbread cookie against four others. She likes this one from Duncan's of Deeside the best. Bravo to the Seattle importer for selecting this to repackage and sell. It has just the right crunch and buttery taste according to mama. She has been have afternoon (and morning and night etc) tea all her life.. We have also found it in Publix in Florida - important since Amazon often runs out of the traditional ones. [We have not tried the flavored ones.] As to the reviewer who complained about broken ones, we eat them not show them - but for guests I suppose that might be irritating. I might note having just returned from the "ol' sod" that I was a bit crumpled myself in the journey. In sum, a wonderful addition to a proper cup of tea (we like Yorkshire Gold although PG Tips will do).

Not worth it!!!
This package took over a month to be delivered, the package was damaged, the cookies were broken inside. It was wayyyy too expensive, 8 tiny lousy cookies for 12 dollars...not worth it!!! I don't recommend.

Not recommended for cookie monsters…
…because you will eat them all in a flash. Have never found a good shortbread cookie since I left Scotland. But these qualify. A friend gifted me with some of all their flavors. This flavor is my fave. The cookies are quite firm but have that delightful melty mouth feel once you take a bite. I knew better than to order more than 2 bags at a time. Hard to find? Yes. Pricey? Yes. Too few cookies in the bag? Yes. I don’t care. Yum.
