Decided to purchase a Grip6, it arrived a week ago, and right out of the box, I knew I wasn't going to like it. Stiff cargo strap material, like something used to tie down cargo in a truck, and (1.5" version) the belt was just a "look at me" smooth hunk of curved, glossy(black) metal. The belt didn't go with anything, including 501's, and when on, looked like I was a wannabe spec ops or off duty/wannabe police officer. Wore it around for a day, and found the stiff cargo strap made my pants sort of dig in to my pelvic bones (I have an athletic build and a flat stomach). Undoing the belt wasn't that big of a deal, until I had to go to the bathroom, and every time, it was a bit of a, "why won't this thing undo?" Of course it did unbuckle just fine, but there's that; I want to go to the bathroom, not suck in my stomach enough to leverage the buckle away from me, create space and an angle so that the cargo strap can be release...etc. Needless to say, I returned it. Hated to be that guy, but I wasn't happy with it. IMO, the Grove looked no different, and a trip to their website a month ago, resulted in dozens and dozens of spam emails from them, for weeks. I don't respond well to gorilla marketing. Enter the Arcade Belt. It was recommended by a family member, and as soon as I looked it up on desertcart, I knew I was going to like it. It arrived today, and as soon as I took it out of the shipping bag, I knew it was going to be perfect (for me). It's flexible, it's stretch, my pants aren't digging into my pelvic bones, and all it takes is a very normal squeeze of the 2 "triggers" on the buckle, and it's undone...10th of a second operation that requires nothing other than 2 fingers. I ordered the Navy color and it's perfect with a pair of 501's. Just looks like a nothing of a belt, and not like I'm trying to get attention. Same with the small, dull finish, buckle.... it's just a nothing. Lifetime warranty. I couldn't be more pleased with it. Review: Truly A Fantastic Alternative to a traditional belt - This belt is not just a belt but a game-changer for adventure seekers and travel enthusiasts alike. Its robust construction from high-grade, water-resistant nylon weave ensures durability, making it the go-to belt for strenuous outdoor activities, yet it’s stylish enough to replace a traditional leather belt for day-to-day use. The belt’s quick-release buckle is a standout feature, offering an easy and efficient way to fasten or unfasten the belt—a real boon in challenging environments, whether you’re trekking through a forest or navigating a busy airport. Beyond its functional benefits, the belt offers a level of comfort that stands out, thanks to its adjustable sizing and ergonomic design. It effortlessly maintains its shape and tension whether you're rock climbing or simply walking through a city during your travels. While the price point may be a bit higher than traditional belts, the rcade Original Unisex Adventure Belt makes up for it by being a multifaceted, reliable investment that addresses both functional needs and stylistic desires. In summary, whether you're embarking on an outdoor adventure or need a versatile, dependable belt for travel and everyday wear, this belt comes highly recommended.

Truly A Fantastic Alternative to a traditional belt
This belt is not just a belt but a game-changer for adventure seekers and travel enthusiasts alike. Awesome belt!
I got this belt when I was recovering from abdominal surgery and needed something to hold my pants up that was adjustable and comfortable against my sore belly. That was long ago but I still wear this belt almost every day. It is ideal for wearing with shorts, being casual, being active, hiking, doing yard work, just hanging around, or even when skiing (if you wear ski pants instead of bibs). It is also completely non-metallic so it is ideal to wear when going through the airport - no need to remove your belt for TSA. I do recommend the slim version the most. I have both sizes and the wider one is a bit cumbersome to get through the belt loops on some of my jeans and shorts.

Great with one drawback…
I ordered three of the belts for my kids. We all loved the variety designs and that each person could choose their own unique design. The quality of these belts is very good - sturdy, adjustable, and the buckle has been strong since we got them 8ish months ago. The only reason I cannot give this product 5 stars is because the width of both the belt and buckle is just a bit too wide for little boys’ belt loops. My son who wears a size 8-10 pant struggles changing his belt from one pair of pants to the other.

Great everyday wear belt you don't need to keep adjusting.
Great belt that just stays on. Tighten it once, then never adjust again. Keeps your pants up with no pinching when you sit. No complaints. Only small short coming is that the buckle doesn't line up easily when closing and sometimes need to adjust before clicking.

Lightweight and slim buckle
Best belt I've ever tried for everyday use and hiking/camping. The buckle is really simple and lightweight, the belt is elastic and holds great. Never liked the heavy metal buckles or leather belts, this is perfect for me.

Awesome belt for slimmer wasted people
I was looking for a lightweight flexible belt I could wear while hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, etc... and found mention of this brand in an online forum. Let me just say this belt checks all of my boxes and then some. I'm able to adjust it to just the right tension so it holds securely but will flex when I sit/bend down or move. The plastic buckle lays flat when I sit or stand and doesn't poke me or create friction when wearing a pack with a hip belt. I personally don't mind the plastic buckle as I don't think it necessarily means lowered durability and is less clunky than metal. The belt is pretty easy to adjust and I was able to get it to my liking in under 5 min. Durability remains to be seen but for 30 dollars it's not a major investment. The major downside of this belt is it's sizing. I have a 32" waist and only have about 3inches of slack left. I think if you have a larger waste the belt would need to be constantly flexed in order to accommodate you. Personally I think that would be uncomfortable. I like being able to have the belt just taught enough that it isn't "stretching" but can flex if need be during movement. This may just be a personal preference but I felt with pointing out.

No frills, no joke.
I have been using these belts basically every day for 6 months now. I don't think there is anything I don't like about it. The buckle is super sturdy plastic with no sign of getting worn or loose. The elastic material is nice and tight but forgiving letting me feel supported while not constricted. The material holds up well, no more than some minor pilling around the seams after daily usage. It's dead simple, doesn't set off metal detectors, tight but stretchy, and not stupid expensive. There is elegance in simplicity, and Arcade has executed it well here.
