Great pillow! No weird smells. Solid support. Love that it snaps (for carrying purposes). I recently took two, 40 hour Amtrak trips. Since the pillow is flexible, I used it as an armrest, neck pillow and ankle support. I wasn't sure I'd like it but it's actually very comfortable and I love that it's versatile. I use it even when I'm not traveling.

The foam itself... it is memory foam, but it doesn't remember much. But that's fine. It's still very comfortable foam. You'll probably mostly use it in a U-shape. I do. And that may make the malleable shape seem like a gimmick, but it's not a gimmick. It's very good. The fact that it holds its shape adds a lot for the support of the pillow, much like what you're hoping a large premium memory foam pillow will do. Once it's behind my head, I press my head into "the spot" to make the armature form to hug my head how I want it. What that spot is, will be slightly different for each person. You'll notice that it still makes a U shape, but with some small differences that are important. Your variant on the U will probably be different from mine, depending on where on your head you place it. And even if used just as the classic U, the armature adds some much-needed support that other travel pillows don't have. I have to use it unfastened, or else I can't get it into the spot that I want. I really wish it was longer; part of the support, at least in how I use it, comes from the shoulders, and it needs more length to utilize that to the fullest potential. I'm glad I saw another of the reviews with images. Kudos to them for warning us that it could break easily. Better not twist it, or bend it too sharply. I notice that the outer surface of the foam gets pulled very tight when the core is bent. That's not a good thing. Hopefully, with some extra care, it will last a good long time. Cutting a sausage comes to mind. When you bend a sausage, bends a little, until the tension overcomes the case, and it splits into two pieces. But if you put many shallow cuts into the sausage, then you can bend it quite a lot without it breaking. Perhaps some day, I'll get a second one, and try putting some shallow cuts in the foam to see if that prevents the foam from snapping apart. Maybe they'll even sell one like that, by the time I come back for another. My experience with the kind of foam that's inside of it, is that you shouldn't expose it to heat and you should keep it away from chemicals. And of course, keep it away from moisture and dirt, because the foam is porous and will trap it inside to become a bio hazard. Little ball joint armatures... assuming that's what this uses, will tend to wear out and get loose after a few years. So, that's another reason to be nice to it. If it doesn't break or wear out too fast, then this may be my pillow of choice for the rest of my life. Unless they make a longer one. Then, I'll buy that one every time I need a new one, and I'll be happy about it. I'm happy that I bought this pillow.

This pillow was an absolute life saver on my 14 hour flight from the United States to Australia. In my however many years of flying, this was the first time I actually felt like my travel pillow actually made flying significantly better. I never used it wrapped around my neck like a typical travel pillow, but because it’s so flexible, I used it in so many different positions to keep comfy. I had a window seat so I leaned on it folded up against the window (and it was nice because the u-shape provided extra space to not squish my ear), I unfolded it so it was straight line and hugged it like a body pillow and rested my head on the top, I folded & lodged it between my partner & I (who was in the middle seat) so it created comfy leverage between the two of us. The inner wire is sturdy enough to keep the pillow in place, but the surrounding plush makes it squishy enough to be comfortable. I ended up using it outside of the plane on my trip too as a lumbar pillow to prop me up in bed, and as a regular pillow at one Airbnb with super flat pillows. My partner, with his $70 travel neck pillow that he can never get comfy with, was extremely jealous the whole time and bought his own right after we got back. Cannot recommend this enough!

Why I Bought It: So many great reviews had me convinced this would be my perfect travel pillow. What I Liked: It bends and twists nicely, so you can shape it how you want. Memory foam feels decent. What I Didn’t Love: Clunky and awkward to carry. The snap didn’t stay closed, so attaching it to my bag was pointless. Takes up way too much space for what it is. Who It’s For: Maybe fine if you don’t mind carrying extra bulk — but not great for light packers. Bottom Line: It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t worth the space it took. I’ll keep looking.

This neck pillow is considerably bigger around than appears in the pictures, which depending on the individual could be good or bad. Im rather small so its a bit much for me, but given that it can be "twisted" allows for several different ways it can be used. I think with time the memory foam will conform better, and i also realize i need to use it for awhile and adapt. Needless to say its very firm, yet still soft enough. The covering is so much better than I imagined , i was afraid it was going to be that slick polyester,instead its more like a super soft cotton t shirt material which is great for sleep, wont get sweaty and itchy! Ive been using it while I wrote this and already it has conformed to my neck! And its rather warm in here yet it isnt making me sweat, feels very breathable! Given the quality of the foam, the material and ability to adjust it to your living makes this a very good buy! I may end up getting another to use at my back/side as im a side sleeper in a lift chair and only around 80 lbs. I have to stuff pillows everywhere for support! I spent days looking at and considering many neck pillows and this is the one i chose and im glad!

I bought this for a long road trip and tested it at home first and really like it. Used it on a shorter 6 hour road trip and love how well it worked in the car.

A must have for travelling

I love this traveling pillow because it can be band in every direction, the cover can be easily taken off for washing and put back easily. It's light, and small
