The clamps are angled with a long arm 4" from the center of the hold down screw and a short arm 1" from center. The hold down screw should give you a little more than 2" travel to tighten the aux table to your drill press. There are no hold down clamps for the table surface that come with this unit. There are two T tracks on either side, but standard T track hold downs do not provide very much versatility when clamping different pieces to the table. There are 1 or 2 larger clamps I have found that should work, but they run more than $40. Also be aware that the T nuts that the hold screw downs into on the underside of the aux table must be removed and glued and screwed back in place, best with epoxy, to keep them pulling out of the particle board when over tightened. **Q: How far isback of table to center of hole on table?** A: The rear edge of the table is 4 inches from the center of the hole. With the fence in place, the hole center is 3 inches from the fence, if aligned at the edge of the table. The hole is also 12 inches from the table side edges. **Q: Does this come with hold down clamps for the t-tracks? If not, what is recommended? thx** A: No **Q: How does this drill fence mount to the wren drill press table** A: It does, but there is a big "BUT". The table mounts to the drill press table via two clamps that attach to the bottom. Unfortunately, this clamping mechanism is not very stable. It easily comes loose. In my case, I purchase 4 screw fasteners, moved the attachment point to match the slots on the drill press table and then attached the table to the drill press table. Now it is rock solid. The fence is good quality, but with a 12 " drill press the mounting was problematic. Still, I'd buy again. *by M***S on August 20, 2025* WEN Drill Press Table I was in the planning stages to make a DIY table for an older Craftsman 8" drill press. But when I saw the WEN table I knew my limited carpentry skills could not make a competitive product considering the time and materials I would need. Given my list of cons below I would still by again. Packaging. The table arrived timely and in good condition. It was not repackaged into an external box. Rather it came in a WEN factory box which sufficed to protect the table from damage in transit using Styrofoam and bubble wrap. Small parts were in their own box. No complaints. First Impressions. It's a nice looking table made with 1" MDF (table, fence and stop block, only). The table (top/bottom), fence (front/back), stop block (front/back) and sacrificial block (top/bottom) are all covered in white melamine. Two mounting inserts can be found on the underside of the table to accommodate various drill press tables. Pros. Easy to assemble and mount. Does not interfere will the drill press vertical control handle. Melamine provides a slick surface so no drag on whatever you may be drilling. The table is edge banded (in what I don't know) front, back and sides. Nice touch. Cons. 1) Insert is 0.35" thick while recess it fits into is 0.4". Recess won't accept 1/2" insert so I have to buy some 3/8" to make spare inserts. 2) Star knob/bolt are different than that used on the fence. Losing/breaking one leaves you in a pickle. 3) There's an odd chamfer on the top of the stop block (closest to the fence t-slot) and none on the fence bottom. Seems to me it would better serve on the bottom. 4) Fence interferres with the drill press vertical feed when placed forward within (about)2" from the back. I removed 2 of the 3 handles which helped most of the time. Also, you'll have trouble drilling small parts (i.e., 3/4" wide which happens to be one of my upcoming projects) and the drill spindle will make contact with the top of the fence. (I made a shorter axilliary fence that mounts using the fence bolts. The distance from the spindle center to the top, forward edge of the fence is about 7/8" which again limits small part drilling. 5) All exposed surfaces are subject to moisture which my shop has too much of.
