They are perfect to water house plants for a couple weeks, and are pretty!

Function as described; beautiful design

They are lovely and their weight makes it seem like they have some durability, but they are VERY fragile. I have a couple left, and I do love them, but as soon as I gently laid one by the sink to turn the water on, it fractured (again, GENTLY laid it next to the sink). I was thinking maybe I should coat them in a clear resin to give them some protection, but I'm not sure how I'm going to do that without cracking them. They hold water until they break. the spouts can be hard to get under some faucets- they are long enough that a bathroom faucet probably won't work.

These are beautiful and they will efficiently water your plants for approximately 15 days. However, they are extremely delicate. If placed directly in the sun, they will crack and fall apart. All four of my globes broke this way, but I ordered them all again because they are so efficient and so lovely. Round two however, will not be placed in the direct sunlight.

This is my second set. I place them in an outdoor planter filled with snapdragons. . Yea///after a year, one of the balls split at a seam. Not bad after a year of weathering. Biggest surprise was when a critter drug them across the yard. Guessing racoons.

Build quality: Ok. I loved these at first. We went away for two weeks and when we came home all my plants looked very healthy and watered. I decided I'd refill them and keep them in my plants a bit longer. While sitting on the couch near one of them, it suddenly exploded and crashed to the floor. It had not fallen out of the plant dirt, it just plain exploded. Well, we thought this strange but figured it was just a freak incident. Last night, about 3 weeks after the first incident, a second one also exploded!! I kid you not! I still have the remainder in my plants but I think i'm going to have to remove them all before someone gets hurt. As I said, they worked perfectly, look great, and are very easy to use but those two weird explosions make it impossible to recommend them. I'd love to contact the company directly about this so I hope they read this review! Perhaps this has happened to someone else?

Acabo de regresar de un viaje de 2 semanas y funcionó a la perfeccción. Mi planta aguantó y todavía sobró un poco de agua. Tienes que asegurarte que no se libere toda el agua antes de irte y que vaya goteando de a poco. Sí los recomiendo.

I went away for vacation & used these beautifully coloured watering bulbs for my indoor plants. They’re large enough to handle any size pot & worked very well.
