Kitty Be Good Cat Scratching Deterrent Spray – Protects Furniture & Wallpaper, 500ml

I purchased this spray to deter my cat from scratching my hall carpet. I can safely say he does not like the smell of the spray and it seems to have helped. I have also put a couple of scratching boxes with cat nip sprinkled on around the area. A couple of days after the first spraying he decided to try the carpet again, but after a second spraying he has left it alone. I will probably have to spray it occasionally just to remind him but the smell is quite pleasant so it is not a problem. Also the spray trigger works very well unlike a previous different make spray I purchased which continually clogged and jammed and almost broke my fingers trying to use. Although the spray is not cheap it is certainly cheaper than a new carpet, but I also appreciate that this may not work with every cat.

This is rubbish. I absolutely SATURATED one of my chairs with this stuff (this was after following instructions for first use). Did it work? Did it hell😡 As if that wasn't enough, it stopped spraying properly. Stress free? Not for the kitten parents! It went where all other rubbish goes. The BIN. I'm not happy because this stuff wasn't cheap. I'm all for supporting small businesses but there's a limit.

Purchased after reading reviews and recommendations - lovely scent and very effective in deterring my cats from scratching furniture and stair post. However I have only been able to use it twice as the trigger gun part of the spray bottle has stopped working and it won’t spray now. Not sure if this is just a one off with my item or if it has happened to anyone else. Due to the faulty spray, I do consider it a bit expensive for something that was effective but unable to be used after a couple of days.

I was skeptical about sprays to prevent cats from ruining furniture as many of them had bad reviews. This has the best reviewed so gave it a try. Surprisingly, it has worked very well!!! My cats weren’t aggressively scratching our sofa but we’re playing and running on it and leaving huge scratch marks as they went. They were also attacking the area rug and ripping up the carpet outside our bedroom door. For the sofa and rug, I spray in the morning and evening and there are no more scratch marks!!! The smell is citrus and smells as if I had used mild cleaning products in the room. Overall, very tolerable to save the sofa!! Currently ordering my second bottle.

Ok product, works well for a little while until the cats get used to the smell and just carry on ruining the furniture! Bottle itself is pretty poor quality it stopped pumping when you pull the trigger after 2 uses so has now been decanted into a new spray bottle which is working fine

It didn't really work that well. Unfortunately the cat that used to scratch the furniture was hit by a car and killed. Our new cat doesn't scratch anything he shouldn't so no longer an issue.

I love this product and am on my second bottle and am considering ordering a third bottle! Having just completely redecorated our sitting room we really did not want the cats scratching the new furniture or messing the new carpet. I spray the 'previously affected areas' first thing in the morning and so far - three months down the line - we have had no little accidents and the furniture has not been scratched. I also spray the stairs where the cats seem to love to scratch the carpet and again seem to be having good results. The smell is light and fresh and very pleasant - much better than other carpet freshener sprays and I would highly recommend Kitty Be Good spray.

We have a 9 month old kitten and with a new velvet sofa coming, I was very anxious. I decided to try this spray as it said it wouldn’t leave marks (it doesn’t), had a pleasant smell (it does) and the manufacturer offered a money back guarantee, which I feared I might have to use (I haven’t). Raffles seemed quite keen to have at the new sofa but lost interest when we used the spray - he sleeps in the living room, so after the first night I was really quite worried that I’d be met with a damaged piece of furniture but he hadn’t touched it at all. We sprayed every evening for a week and that did the trick and we are now no longer using it. The fragrance was nice (although my daughter was a bit heavy handed with it on one occasion and then it was understandably a little overpowering) and it left no marks. Really pleased with this as I wasn’t sure it would work but it did everything it claimed to. Would highly recommend.
