Shibby Tomato might be in the future....but he is slowing down and might be out of the game, haven't seen anything from him for a while anyway. I am running the most current as of this writing release of DD-WRT on two of these routers with no problems. I have two WRT3200s as bridged clients on 5ghz connected to a WRT1900ACSV2 access point, and use the 2.4 radio for my devices. This configuration works very well for me and I'm covering about half my 10 Acres with solid connectivity. I've been pretty happy with them, and DD-WRT is magnitudes more stable and has far more options than the stock firmware. If you do go with DD-WRT.....follow the download links to the betas directory, then drill down in that for the current Linksys devices. Take a gander at the DD-WRT forum for the Marevel chipsets for up to date install directions and tips for this router. **Q: Does this run hot?
