The stumps are made from compressed paper while the torillions are made from rolled paper. The stumps so far are my favorite as this set comes with such a nice array in sizes. Plus they are double sided so I don't have to clean as frequently when using the same size stump a lot. Also the stumps are so easy to clean and even re pointing with the sandpaper board. The tortillions are best for super precise blending, but be sure to not use a lot of pressure as it will cause the tip to collapse and even with a needle/paper clip, I couldn't get the same point back. Also the only real way to clean these is to rub on white paper and even than it only does so much. Overall nice set at a great price that completely replaces the need to use my old blending methods. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love my purchase *by N*** on Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2020* I am new to coloring and took it on as a stress reliever.
