Ernie Ball strings are the world standard as they created the modern sets that all manufacturers use. They are consistent, reliable, and sound great. The individual packaging makes them easier to install, in my opinion, as compared the other big brand's strings that come in one tangled mess. The tone is bright and even across the range, producing a sharp, punchy notes with ample output. They feel great under the hands and have enough length to string up even the longest scale length guitars and they hold up for hours before losing their tone. There's no reason to buy any other strings as the wide array of sizes fits any instrument for any style of music.

These are great strings, handy untangled packaging, and nice to have multiple pairs. I think this is a good goto string for most main stream users. This is a good value purchase. The strings perform well.

Ernie Ball strings are great, good feel and sound quality, i've never really had any issues with Ernie Balls. But I will say something about ordering strings on Amazon is strange. Many times i've ordered strings from other places with no issues, then I buy some from Amazon and they seem to break faster. I'm not sure if it's how Amazon is storing them, if they're old or what.. I installed these on my Epiphone and the E broke like 3 days later. Same thing when I ordered Daddario's. All in all I still recommend these strings, they're bright, they have plenty of gauges to choose from, and they normally last a decent amount of time... I might just not get them from Amazon anymore..

Great playing strings. Gotta get through the stretching phase to maintain tuning but once there, they are there. Of there are pricier options for things like extended lifespans but for me nothing plays like Ernie’s

I recommend trying different brands to see what feels right for you. Ernie ball strings have always been an extremely high quality product. Strings are far more durable than other brands that I have used. It’s important to note that they are a different feel and tension when compared to the lighter gauge. String bending etc will require more strength but your hands do adapt. Ernie ball strings are fantastic quality and value for money.
