Look, I don’t like vacuum bags. Nobody does. You don’t invite friends over and say, “Hey, check out this bag of dirt I collected under the couch.” But the Kenmore 53292s? They’re the only ones I trust. Not because they’re charming or exciting, but because they don’t lie to me about being HEPA. I once tried a knockoff that claimed “HEPA-style,” which, as it turns out, is marketing-speak for “holds onto dust like a spaghetti strainer holds soup.” I vacuumed the whole house, felt pretty proud, then saw a beam of sunlight reveal what looked like a glitter bomb of allergens hanging in the air like a passive-aggressive cloud of shame. These Kenmore bags don’t do that. They actually are HEPA, not “HEPA-esque” or “inspired by HEPA.” They trap the junk, seal it in. That’s all I ask. I don’t want a relationship with my vacuum bags—I just want them to do their job and not lie to my face.

I used the paper ones and ended u with a lot of dust inside the vacuum cleaner and on the pre-motor filter. Dust allergies are serious in our household, so using these cloth HEPA bags is so much better. No dust goes outside of the bag. They are bigger but are to be folded into the compartment to fit and emptied once 3?4 full. That's advice from VacWorks customer service where I bring mine for any repairs or extra attachments. Works so well.

I buy these bags for my new Kenmore and they work great. They hold a lot and nothing gets through. No smells or dust flying out the back of the machine. I think they are a bit expensive but they are worth it.

Bags are OEM for my Kenmore vacuum. Sears has closed in Canada and online is the only source I can find to buy these bags. Glad I could get them and at a reasonable price and fast delivery.
