It lights up while its flying and two lights colors for two speeds. Really fun to play with in the dark. It does make a loud flying noise but it would be creepy if it was silent. Charges with USB. Comes fully charged when you open the box! Takes some practice playing catch but it's super fun for everyone! It's easy to use (it has a sensor that keeps it from bumping into walls and the kids use their hand to direct it to move around the house). All you have to do is drop it and it takes off, which the kids also love. A full battery charge lasts about 8 minutes, which is pleanty of time for kids to play with it. It is easy to hook up the charger (likely only young children would need help). We are enjoying playing with this fun toy! There is no controller to lose. It is controlled with your hands and it automatically avoids obstacles. It is nearly indestructible. The only down side is the control isn't very granular. There are very few sensors around the perimeter of the drone, so if the senor doesn't happen to be facing your hand, it will ignore the input.
