He thought the were comfortable and helped. Not too thick so they still fit in his shoes. He liked that they stayed in place vs the gel heel insoles we tried. The seam on one did unravel after about 4 months of abuse but I would guess we are not using them per the intended design. Walking and running with them on was easy.
