I purchased this because my air-popper stopped working so I wanted to try something new. The item has worked for me well. I have not had any problems with burning of the product as I have read by others. I do not use oil when cooking my popcorn with this product since I had read by others that it worked well without needing to do so. I confirm that to be the case. My 1200 W microwave is an older model, but it still works great, and I use it on high for 2 minutes to get the perfect batch. I also fill my popcorn between the first and second level mark and it pops it to the brim (yellow popcorn) with no or a couple over edge popcorn. Then I add the popcorn oil and salt after in a separate bowl so I can pop more kernels without needing to wipe out any residue oil. it makes for a very easy quick cleaning. We like popcorn at our home and this popper allows us to adjust oil levels and type of oil to use. We also do other flavors and having the popcorn without oil makes this easy. I use to have to get my air-popper out, pop the popcorn, unplug, then wash the items, and put away. I still go through the same steps, but this is so much easier to clean, use, and put away. I plan to get one for my office. I have no complaints about this product. It is user friendly. I use common sense when using it as well as experimenting microwave timing. I very much like the POPCO popcorn popper and I would recommend it for the popcorn lover. I think it would be a great product to keep at your office, and it could save you much on purchasing the bagged popcorn. I think that popcorn could still be burnt in it just like any microwaveable product. I do not use the popcorn button because I know that each microwave pops popcorn at different levels. Like at home, 2 minutes for the 1200 W is perfect. At work, the 1200 W microwave (newer version) only takes a minute 10 seconds or it will burn it I add anymore time than that. Best thing to do is to figure out what it will take for the particular microwave you plan to use to pop your popcorn. When I first use a microwave, I listen for when the popcorn begins to stop popping or gets intermittent popping, then I stop it. I figure out the time from there, then I work with it increasing or decreasing no more than 5 second increments until I know when it takes too long or leaves a lot of kernels. Then I use that to measure the cooking time. I have found the popcorn button not to be accurate, and more often, it will burn the popcorn. Smaller amounts also take less time. I have learned that also from using the POPCO already as well as popping smaller bags at work and home.

If you make popcorn at home, you need this popcorn popper!! You pour 1/4 cup of popcorn in, stick it in the microwave for allotted time and it pops almost every kernel and the popcorn tastes great! Super easy to use, popcorn is so healthy compared to the bags with oil in them, it works incredibly well and the size is perfect.

Love this popcorn bowl. It works well and cleans easily in the top rack of the dishwasher. Price was also good. Makes healthy inexpensive popcorn!

great product. Easy to use for healthier popcorn. better to store than an air popper. You really have to watch the timer or the popcorn will burn, only reason it does not get a five star, it gets extremely hot !!

I really wasn't expecting much for 7.99 and a microwave popper as a diehard real popcorn maker fan but this thing is awesome!! I am so impressed!! I overfilled it my first time and it went everywhere but every kernel popped!! I looked for grannies or old maids and there were none!! I did use a bit of oil and it did wonderful such easy clean up! I have cataracts and I love to read and eat but they have gotten so bad reading is difficult and watching TV and eating is not the same but I had ordered a hard not find movie from eBay and as I settled in to watch I wanted the movie theater expand got this popper out for the first time and was so thrilled with all the popcorn and I used my movie theater liquid seasoning with a Ziploc bag and shook it all up and grabbed my Pepsi and full bag of popcorn and had an amazing in home theater experience thanks to the quickness and ease of this popper!! It took the full 4 minutes but my microwave is old came with the rental and I did use probably too much popcorn but really and I rarely review but I am so impressed I had to share!! If anyone has doubts buy it NOW!! Love love love!! Oh and easy clean quick rinse and done!!

Easy to use. Consistently excellent popcorn with very few unpopped kernels left. I recommend this microwave popcorn popper.

This is so perfect for those who are seriously into limiting excess oil from their diet. The directions state to NOT put oil in the bowl prior to cooking popcorn!!! One reason in particular: Oil will make burn marks (or melt marks) in the bowl. The purpose of this bowl is to minimize the amount of oil consumed. There are two levels (inside the bowl) to which you can fill the uncooked popcorn kernels. The lower mark will pop the kernels to fill the bowl halfway. To provide a full bowl of cooked popcorn, you will add enough uncooked kernels only to the upper line! (Trust me, if you fill any higher, the popped kernels will overflow into the microwave). Remember to always put the lid on top of this collapsable bowl BEFORE you cook the kernels! I set my microwave for 5 minutes, and listen for the kernels to slow down to around one pop every 2-3 seconds. (Please Note: Popcorn will burn if it’s not removed from cooking in the correct time frame). Then, I place a dishtowel around the bowl to remove it from the microwave—The bowl will be HOT!!!! After the bowl has been removed, I dump half of the popcorn into a very-large ceramic bowl—and then, spray the popcorn (in the ceramic bowl) with Organic Olive Oil…and then, season it with salt (“or” plain cinnamon, which I love). And then, I dump the rest of the cooked popcorn (from the collapsible bowl) on top of the popcorn (in the ceramic bowl. I then spray the popcorn with the Olive Oil, and then, top it with the seasoning. (I shake the bowl occasionally to distribute the seasoning). I keep mixing and spraying oil until most of the popcorn is seasoned. Please Note: If you don’t spray enough oil on the popped kernels, the seasoning won’t adhere to the popcorn, (it will end up in the bottom of the bowl). To clean the collapsable bowl, I place it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I have purchased this popper several times, to give as Christmas gifts. It is amazing.

This has made popcorn popping so easy! You just put in some popcorn kernels, pop on the lid and throw it in the microwave and hit the popcorn setting (or equivalent depending on your microwave). Out comes nice fresh hot popcorn ready for butter or whatever topping you want. You can eat it right out of the container. I have several air poppers and the popcorn is always chewy and stale textured with them, but this popper has perfect textured popcorn. Light and fluffy with more kernels popped and less waste. I really recommend!

Excellent product, and saves me from PFOA's , the "forever chemicals" that are in microwave popcorn bags. It pops everything nicely, and I can control the amount of oil and salt content. Folds up nicely, and easy to clean.

I really enjoy my popcorn popper so far. I wanted to replace my chip addiction with something healthier and cheaper so I decided to eat popcorn when the cravings hit. But taking out a sauce pan and turning on the stove all the time is such a hassle. Then I searched and found this small gadget. It’s amazing how almost each of corns pop. They are really puffy and crunchy. I don’t put oil so there is minimal cleaning as well. Add a bit of salt and you are good to go. Just make sure folloe the instructions on the leaflet so you don’t put more than what’s recommended otherwise they won’t pop fully. I bought high quality organic kernels and I only had 2-3 unpopped one in each batch. Still it comes much more cheaper than a bag of high quality chips. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fuss free healthy snack.
