What she had to add were 4 eggs, 500 g of butter and a small amount of fresh milk (120 ml), nothing else.There’s hardly anything that could go wrong with this cake. Ingredients are measured, baking took short while, much frosting remained unused. Result turned out to be juicy, not heavily flavored, with layers colours easy to tell from another at all times.I honestly feared we might have overspent just a little, but compared to regular confectionary (pictured last), fancy to the eye but with jam in between layers, baking our own homemade addition turned out to be centerpiece. 😀I will return for other orders in the future.
