Bosch Cordless Light UniversalLamp 18 (Without Battery, 18 Volt System, in Carton Packaging)

A useful bit of kit with three brightness levels. Well-made. Works with my Bosch battery architecture making it quite cost-effective.

Robust, well made and designed. If you already have other Bosh products possibly with a spare battery ('All 18V Alliance' or equivalent) this could be very useful as an emergency or general purpose torch. It is of course LED and is reasonably heavy and has 2 brightness settings but no beam 'width' adjustment. The (up/down) angle of the beam can be adjusted but the minimum is horizontal, when the lamp is on a horizontal surface, so it is not really intended as a table lamp. It also has a hook. So far I have used it for many hours using a charged 2 Ah battery, and there is still plenty of charge left.

Very bright, good coverage/spread, battery life for 4Ah battery is all day on min output but drops to about 4 hours on full output. Magnetic feature and hook are good in the right circumstances. I love the fact it can share batteries with my other kit, but see reservations below; would be 5 stars except for these issues. Part of the Bosch OneForAll battery system range so can share batteries and chargers from other items I have in that range which is great; my only gripe is that there are not enough other vendors involved in the battery alliance and even Bosch had 2 standards, a pro range and a consumer range, there is no need for them to have different battery standards. Also the batteries and chargers are a bit overpriced. Hence 4 stars for these flaws, but otherwise a great bit of kit.

Excellent torch value for money idea battery capacity

Really pleased with the quality of build and the flexibility. Can be used in so many different positions whilst working. Bright but not dazzling. Just right

I am a big fan of Bosch products, I use nothing else, simply Bosch is quality! OH DEAR…this torch is a load of rubbish, a match produces more light than this. Build quality is superb, it’s just the brightness of the light that lets it down. I hope Bosch see this review and amend the light brightness 👌.

Fijn produkt om te klussen. Maar ook als de stroom zou uitvallen. Licht genoeg altijd accu gereed. Draaiknop is ook fijn. Dus top produkt.
