Very Impressive and Fast
5 stars. This item is for single mode fiber connections. It works flawlessly. 2 modules were purchased and just seem to be non functional but the other is working. I will be buying more. Over 50 devices are controlled by this item Insert sfp module, connect power to switch, then insert fiber cable. Thatโs it

Works great with Ubiquiti!
Worked great for my Ubiquiti US-8-150 to US-24-500 switches. Recognized immediately when using 9/125 OM2 fiber.

Solid Value - Plug in perfect - works perfectly
Needed a pair of CISCO SM OPTICS modules ASAP and had to be direct plug compatible. True name brand CISCO modules cost 20x or 30x more and are semi constrained due to logistics and supply chain issues. The packaging is unusual (metal box) but who cares. They worked.

Has lasted several months
Fair SFP units with their own chips and firmware. Not 10 or 40 Gigabit capable, like you would want in any new system, but theyโre what we have on this marketplace, and have lasted for several months reliably, unlike some other multimode units Iโve used in the past. They are easy to slide and clip into device SFP sockets/ports, and are tight fitting yet loose enough for sheathed reinforced fiber optic lines, very easy to install. Heat level is 18.3 Fahrenheit over a 75F ambient environment with no data being transmitted, or about as much as a 3 decade old ceiling fan motor on medium. If the manufacturer wants to tell me how to update their firmware, if they offer updates, please send a message.

not the biggest name, but it is working on my meraki switches. I keep spares but have not needed them

plug and play, stable connection, cheap
Used these on a pair of Netgear GC110 switches spanning ~360ft between 2 buildings. Works great, stable 1gbps connection.

It just works.
This is my second set of these that I have ordered. They are all running in Mikrotik switches / routers. Just pop them in and they work out of the box. One set even survived a lightning strike (the hardware they were in was not so lucky).
