The color is awesome. My uke case doesn't need to look all serious and black now.Great soft plush inside, fits my 21" uke well, has a small compartment inside for your picks, tuner, and whatever.Seems strong.The outside skin is made from what seems like thick textured vinyl film, stretched over whatever the hard case structure is made from. Mine came with the vinyl film separated in one place, probably due to damage in shipping, or an unfortunate cut in manufacturing, so I just glued it back on, and now I can't even find where this was anymore. The skin would probably be stronger if it was made out of 600D polyester, or real leather, but it's not like anyone would make one of those cheapo cases with that, is it? They are all covered with this type of material! That said, it's not the outside skin of the case that protects your instrument, so its all good.Oh, and whoever was complaining about cheap hardware was off.
