Great value for money...But.....
I will break this down into two parts 1) The ordering 2) Delivery1) Ordering is excellent with no issues along the information provided by the supplier. Even though this is classified as used, it looks brand new. Ignoring the packaging, the product is sturdy, well built and heavy. Which is exactly what I need to hold my strobe and diffuser. The parts are well made and tough. The turtle base is sturdy, reliable and tough. The large leg can go up and down, thus making it flexible and adaptable in all situations.2) Delivery notification = 10/10, arrival 0/10. The courier left the package on my doorstep without waiting for a reply when she rang my bell. The packaging was ripped in two places. She claimed that how she received it. Her excuse for leaving it in my doorway "It's safe." Amazan has to do better when vetting these people as the package was not safe.

Mighty, awesome bit of kit. But, lightweight it is not! I mean, you can transport it if you wish, but it is really intended for studio work. Having said that, it is robust and gives a great feeling of security and stability to your setup. If you are serious about your work then this is for you.

Dont forget the sandbags
A good sturdy stand, with gas suspension to help avoid accidents from loosening off when there is a heavy load.As is common with C Stands, it can be prone to tipping over if you aren't careful, so do be sure to order some sandbags too.

Very Sturdy and Quality Feel.
I was a tad reluctant to buy a 'Neewer' C-Stand, as the reason for purchase was the failure of the parts of both light stands in an albeit much cheaper 2 x LCD studio light kit from Neewer. This though seems a great purchase. It's big, heavy and bulky, which i wanted for my Aputure 120d Mk ii light - as you don't want your light stand to topple with almost ÂŁ1k of light sitting atop! It's not going to fold up and sit in a nice carry bag that fits nicely in the boot of your car but if it holds my light without fail then I am happy with the result.

Steady and strong
I use the C-stand for holding up flags, scrims, and long rectangular softboxes. They are sturdy, strong and offer great stability with the locking base. Can also be successfully used as a boom arm in certain situations. Great value and quality for the cost. I have seen these run out of stock on Amazon – a testimony to their popularity amongst photographers!

Honestly really great option
I ordered it since I am in the process of building a small home studio, it has served me well, it is both sturdy and versatile so can be moved and planted in many different areas. I currently use it as my main stand since it is so portable and can be used for not just lights but other equipment as well, really do recommend it.

Needs an alloy key to tighten the stand.
The stand feels cheap compare to other c stands of similar price, but the unacceptable thing is that needs an alloy key to tighten the stand.Very unpractical and also was not specified by the seller.

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW!
You may think from my photo that it's unstable (since 2 ppl are holding it). NOT at all true... I just had two assistants holding it due to sporadic high winds, and the legs sinking into the sand... NOW TO MY REVIEW!PROS:· Price. Can you get better? YES! Can you get better in this price range? HECK NO!· Sturdy. This bad boy is sturdy. On the day of this shoot it took a beating, and was modified to every position imaginable (in the photo for example, we'd just done a laying photo, and rather than adjust the whole stand again, I rotated & put the arm out to its max).CONS:· It's HEAVY, very heavy. That makes it difficult to adjust, but it also helped in the really high winds...People talked about how heavy this is. They weren't kidding.ADVICE:Get "baby pins", other adaptors & another grip to help with function.Get the lighter model if you're moving the stand a lot.IN SHORTFantastic for the price.Sturdy.Heavy AF
