How often do you apply?** A: Cupric Sulfate, 45%, inert ingredients 55% I applied to my horses injury every 3 days **Q: Can you use this on an old wound that the scab never dissolved?** A: Yes **Q: When applied can you wrap the leg? Or is this medication not able to be bandaged over?** A: For me if I do not wrap it. My horse has a summer sore on his neck which I can’t wrap also he has one on his lower leg and I use a mesh leg cover for that. I live in Florida so between the heat the wet ground and the humidity I prefer to leave it open so it doesn’t continue to stay mushy. I recommend to use it only on the proud flesh because this will eat off any other flesh around it. This works really fast. Don’t use this any longer than one day if you have to reapply reapply it daily. I left it on for two days once and it really ate a good bit of the flesh and I mean by good flesh and not just proud flesh.. I use this and then I applied to Minooka, honey and wrapped to my horses degloved leg.
