(between knee and ankle) Not sure who Alois Trancy is but they do make great costume adds. **Q: How wide are the toes?** A: I'm not sure of the exact measurements, but they fit my size 12 foot without showing any toe bulges associated with wearing pointed toe shoes. As long as you dont have anything like hammer toe or corns, you should be alright. **Q: If you have wide calves will these fit?** A: Sadly, no. I ordered the size 12 which fit just fine but no way was I able to lace (even loosely) and still do up the zipper. I am a size 16/18 and my calves are not 'huge' by any means.
