71006 Tube-Grip 2.5" Industrial Size Dispenser

This dispenser tool has been a useful addition in my aviation maintenance shop! This awesome tool has helped me make precise beads and get every ounce of sealant from countless flexible tubes of sealant. Excellent quality, easy to use and the perfect tool to pair with The Silicone Saver dispenser cap!

I don't know how I got by working on cars for 20yrs without this thing. Maybe because I was young. Once the arthritis starts to kick in, you begin to reevaluate your life choices. This has to be one of the best investments I've ever made. It does its job, it's cheap, and it's durable... so far at least. The retaining springs might wear out in the future, but no time soon. The grip can dislodge and come apart, but if you're using this to work on any engine, you'll have easily encountered more complex problems. If this product coming apart trips you up, you might want to consider another hobby/career. The picture of the exploded RTV tube is from me trying to squeeze out a piece of hardened silicone that was acting like a check valve in the tube. This little tool easily outlives the RTV tubes, as seen. The other RTV picture is what the tube looked like before I had this tool. All the beads shown were made with this tool.

I cannot believe how well this thing works. It would be a value at 5x the price. simple, high quality construction, squeezes the tube from the end completely empty and the product doesn't squeeze back behind the pincher. good force level on the gripper handle. works great on thicker RTV to help with accurate application. Definitely would buy again

These have been great tools for me! I've had a few walk away from me at work, but I've never worn one out and I've used them for years. They make typical RTV tubes or other items that come in roughly toothpaste tube sized containers very easy and precise to meter out. Do you need to neatly deposit some nice white RTV 102 to make a finished appearance on something? This will do it for you...and get more out of the tube than you can by hand! Need to run a .25" bead of RTV around your oil pan gasket? This will do it for you; easily, neatly and efficiently. Need to get the last bit of toothpaste out of your tube because you forgot to buy a new tube for the last 3 weeks? This will help! AND, the best part is that it will do it in a controlled and predictable manner! If you read the instructions that come with it, it'll tell you that you shouldn't use this item on an old tube to press out a solidified sealant plug; LISTEN TO THIS. It's strong enough to rupture the side of your sealant tube if there's a solidified plug in the nozzle. Anyhow...this thing works well. I use various sealants every day at my job and I love this thing. But it.

This is a great addition to my tool kit for some work I do. Helps keep a nice consistent flow of sealant coming out of the tube and gets all the sealant out. I used 2 tubes on something that normally took 3 now that I waste less and have an easier way to squeeze the tubes more evenly. Only flaw is the small spring which comes loose at times.

Bought this during the rebuild of my car's engine due to the struggle I was having with squeezing the tube and applying a consistent bead. Little to no effort required and the bead was break-free. So nice to be able to get ever ounce of silicone used and neatly flatten the tube as I go.

I just used this to dispense windshield sealer and am very impressed. It saved time and effort compared to the last time I did this. There is no comparison. This simple tool makes it possible to apply an even bead of sealant with minimal effort.

Don't know why I did not buy sooner. Works well and is a lot less messy
