It was recommended by my brother. The book covers all the concepts of Swing Trading starting from Tools and Platforms for Swing Trading, Financial Instruments, Risk Management, Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis, Trading Rules, Strategies, Entry and Exit. The chapters are divided into clear and concise sections along with visual representation of graphs and figures. The author has explained these concepts with such CLARITY and SIMPLICITY... it reflects his knowledge, experience and success in the field. The author emphasizes again and again how important it is to make a good entry on a stock as this would make a big difference in your risk to reward ratio, and put you on the winning side. In order to do so he describes (along with analogies) many classic indicators, patterns to recognise that reoccur time after time and help you identify a TREND for a profitable trade. I could very quickly grasp these trend indicators from the book and use them in my trading. Identifying a TREND is one of the very important aspects...that's what I think...and the author also mentions many times in the book that 'In market Trend is your only friend'. I totally agree with it. He also goes into describing Market Psychology involved with many of these patterns. This was very helpful in understanding the sentiment of the buyers and the sellers. The book was a great foundation for me. Author's method of writing is outstanding and a pleasure to read. Definitely recommend it! Review: Good for new traders with little or no experience - For a complete swing trading novice, this was an easy book to digest. I really like how the writing style is simplistic and the book contains chart info from actual stocks to illustrate concepts. Will you be able to put this book down and start making money right away? Not likely, but it absolutely contains a lot of solid foundational knowledge. Combine this book with some YouTube videos on swing trading and you'll be ready to start sim trading and practicing the concepts you've been taught.

Set the foundation of swing trading
Read the book in order to build my own routine and to implement a set of tools supporting each individual step. Learned a lot. Good foundation, not too complex, rather a KISS (Keep it simple and stupid) approach but covers all you need.

Great book for beginners
How to Swing Trade by Brian Pezim is a clear and practical resource for anyone looking to develop their trading skills. The book breaks down strategies and risk management in an easy-to-understand way, making it accessible for beginner traders. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on practical strategies and the importance of discipline and patience. The author offers actionable advice on identifying setups, managing trades, and minimizing losses. He also uses real-life examples and his focus on maintaining discipline provides valuable insights that can help traders stay consistent. I highly recommend this book to anyone serious about starting and understanding swing trading.

A must read even for the Day Traders.
Swing Trading is a good first step for those new to the world of trading, those who don’t have the capital to day trade yet, or for those who don’t have the luxury of staring at a screen all day. Already a Day Trader? Why not add another stream of income when the opportunity presents itself? Andrew Aziz does an excellent job showing readers what needs to be focused on from A to Z. He discusses what skills need to be honed, the research and studies that need to be done daily as well as the resources to help in those efforts. Andrew’s detailed explanation of the different tools and studies that a trader needs to use, what to look for in a broker and the ample examples he provides are unmatched. Most authors and online resources only glaze over the subjects that he takes the time to explain, making sure his readers fully understand his subjects. I highly recommend this book as a must read and as a study resource. Don’t forget to check out his other books as well. 5 stars all the way.

One of the best books on trading I’ve read
This book made the whole Swing Trade approach, easy and accessible. My initial desire to read this book was to try to make sense of the gobbledygook I see when I open my trade account. Sure - I know how to execute a buy or sell order - but I wanted to learn some of the other stuff. However, what Pezim does in this book is walk you through the basics of a trade and help you understand the mechanics and what’s going on underneath. He makes it easy to understand and helps push you in the direction of becoming a successful trader. I particularly like the way he assesses risk and makes this about an informed decision as opposed to “just a bet that could go either way”. Finally - Pezim makes a case for “the small guy” and illustrates how we, as retail investors, can have an advantage in the game vs all the massive corporate traders. Although this edition doesn’t address the current rise of AI, and how it would affect trading - I think the strategies may stay very similar regardless. If you’re interested in trading, and understanding how it all works - check out this book.

Great Place to Start
I’ve had some experience trading, but this book does a great job at creating a vantage point for beginners. It has a great perspective and positive tone. The information is incredibly valuable and it’s easily one of the best books I’ve read written on the subject. The information is clear, succinct, and straight forward. If you’re even thinking about starting swing trading, I’d recommend you start here.

I love the way this book is written, the author seems very experienced and compassionate about trading. I was looking for something like this but most of the books were about day trading which does not suite new traders who also have other job or business. The use of examples helps to understand the points. Technical analysis tools cover, moving averages, exponential moving averages, MACD, RSI and much more on using screener and patterns, also potential entry and exit points. Reading this has already improved my trading skills. Congratulations Mr Brian Pezim on pulling it all together in the form of a book, great job!

This is the 3rd book I have finished reading today in my 79 days of trading career. This is an amazing book to start with for someone who is just stepping into this crazy world of stocks. When I started trading, I intended to be a day trader, buy many of my trades I couldn't close within a day. Also in day trading I had these feeling that I have to make very quick decisions, and many of them went very very bad. Of course you need to know your ground well before you can make good decisions than comes the quick decisions. So I felt I need to take things slow. That is the reason I picked this book and it's amazing. This book guides it's reader with fundamentals of stock market, shows available tools and resources to get an idea about the condition of the market also to make better trading decisions. It gives brief idea of basics from A to Z, like fundamental analysis, technical analysis, scanners, risk management, standard criteria of entering and exiting trade, and many more. For a new starter I would say knowledge and implementation of knowledge is not the same thing. Specially when you are dealing with your beloved money :| But keep the knowledge so when you make a mistake you know what went wrong and what you should have done. Trading is all about experience. My advice to a total newcomer would be start with a small account (that you can afford to lose), have patience, have a plan, and never forget to use a STOPLOSS.

Brian offers great content in this book. From chart patterns and technical indicators to psychology and money management. Every basic concept is covered. The section on fundamentals could be improved a little - I find that the discussion around valuation is important for all types of traders, especially in more predictable sectors like infrastructure and utilities. You could also discuss how interest rates and monetary policy affect the market etc. All in all it is definitely worth one's time and money. Thank you, Brian.
