The description is accurate and the product is good. Just beware read the sizes and pay attention I did but other might freak out. They are great for putting on a mini lathe and making small pins etc. would buy again

Perfect Size for Hobby Projects
These magnets were exactly what I needed for a small hobby build. The 3mm x 300mm size is perfect, and they were all consistent in length and diameter, which makes them easy to work with. The stainless steel feels strong and durable, and they don’t fracture under light use. They are powerful magnets, but they hold just enough for small assemblies and craft projects. Great value for the price — I’ll be buying more for future builds. The dimensions were accurate and the function of theses are great!

These stainless steel rods are very good quality for the price. These were used in building a coil winder and work perfectly !

Small stainless rod is useful around the home workshop.
This kit of small stainless rod is handy around the shop. Building model engines, I quickly found the selection useful. Americans might be surprised at the actual small size. It's and inch/metric thing. Nevertheless highly recommended. Edit. Brilliant lathe stock. Needed a .1875" wrist pin for a model engine build. This stuff turns perfectly. Surface finish is superb. This kit is a must for model makers.

Round metal rod
Well, it is a round stainless steel metal rod about 1/4 around. If it is what you need then, yeah, it’s great. I used this on a proton pack and didn’t need all of it. Shiny

Good quality for projects
As described. Straight and smooth. We used in a hobby project as a sliding shaft. Was easy enough to hacksaw and grind, but strong enough not to bend in our application.
