One Strap Sleep Mask

I have used a number of sleep masks and this is my favorite. Very soft, lightweight and the strap at the back of the head is adjustable. I like the little padding which is comfortable and easily blocks light. I highly recommend. I'm going to buy another.

Excellent customer service from this brand. I've been trying to find an eye mask that works while I'm sleeping with my full mask cpap, and it's been tough. I tried two of the masks from Alaska bear and while they were not compatible with my cpap, the quality was fantastic. This one was soft and very comfortable, and the one I tried before it (the one with the stars on it) was even better. If you are someone who doesn't need a full mask for their sleep apnea, your search ends here. You won't regret it. Someone from Alaska bear even reached out to me to assist me in finding a mask that works when I returned the first one. In a world with declining quality of customer service, and no one really holding businesses accountable for poor practices, Alaska Bear truly cares about the quality of their brand. First time trying a sleep mask. I was originally looking at more “premium” masks but ultimately decided to give Alaska Bear a shot based on its price point and material. I had tried on a friend’s mask from a different brand highly promoted on Amazon, and it was way too tight. This mask is easily adjustable and my experience from side and stomach sleeping is that it stayed in place way better than I expected. The mask itself felt light and comfortable. I would say the only negative I’ve noticed so far is that I’m not noticing any improvement on night eye dryness, but it’s not any worse. I was hoping to wake with my eyes feeling more refreshed than recently but haven’t noticed the improvement I was looking for. I have however noticed improved sleep, which I didn’t really expect, and find I am more comfortable sleeping on my back.

I once stayed in an Airbnb that didn't have curtains and faced east, meaning that every morning I was awoken by the sun. That was the first time I realized that wearing an eye mask to bed could have its benefits. Because I travel a lot for business, I find that a good eye mask really helps me fall asleep faster, deeper, and for a longer time. I have tried a few eye masks, but this one is simply the most comfortable and durable one that I have found. Even after using it for a few months it still maintains its softness and form, although it is cheap enough to repurchase at regular intervals. If you are looking for a basic and comfortable eye mask that stays in place and gets the job done, look no further!

Almost entirely light blocking. You can see some light if you open your eyes and look down. Very soft. Does a really good job blocking out light when your eyes are closed. Strap does rest on ears a bit which is a little uncomfortable. It also always falls off my head at night but I really like this mask for the value and I don’t really know that you could find a better one

Very comfortable sleep mask. Good at blocking the light while sleeping, but has a slimmer design so it’s nice when I sleep (I’m a side sleeper). Also easy to adjust sizing.

Updated: After a burn test and a good wash to remove the sizing (pretty much all fabric is made with sizing, hence recommendations to wash even new clothes), this is a perfectly decent sleep mask. It's a bit on the thin side for padding, but that makes it a bit more comfortable on the face. The band is made with a really soft elastic, so it's more comfortable but the band will rapidly wear out much faster than masks with slightly stronger (stiffer) elastic. All in all though, it's a good value for the current price point. Original review: Feels more like nylon than silk I'll update this after I've had it long enough to go through a few more washes if my opinion changes. That being said, the elastic is very thin and skinny, I don't expect it will be long before it gets too stretched out to properly snug down. This n is now the sixth or seventh mask I've bought, and I'm a silk fiber artist. It's the first mask that claims to be silk that doesn't feel AT ALL like silk to me. It has a very clear nylon feel against my skin, rather unpleasant. I'm probably not going to use this except in a pinch until I've managed to run it through the laundry 5 or 6 more times and hope it's just terrible fabric sizing on actual silk, and not actually nylon like it seems now. If it is nylon or a nylon blend, I won't use it.

The best I’ve tried, the eye pocket ones are great but I needed one to keep my eyes closed.
