You have to flip the pad over to the white side to change your baby on because that’s the side that’s waterproof. Some people have made comments about the pattern being on the wrong side... you put the pattern side up so that it absorbs the liquids, and it doesn't leak all over.The material is soft, cute, neutral, and washes well, though I’d recommend washing on its own because they are waterproof, and if washed with other items, they could not get clean. These are also a good larger size!
