BOSCH GT2000 4-Piece Carbide Tipped Glass

Works as advertised. Must not use a high speed drill or it will prematurely wear out the bit. Thats probably why it didn't work for some. Use it in slow rpm and don't t let it overheat and it will work fine and last longer. I've used them on tile, clay and ceramic pots etc.

Some of the best bits I have ever owned. If used properly- they are absolutely the best for tile (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.), cultured stone, and probably more. Wish I found these years ago. Used properly they have a great life span.

Cuts glass pretty well, though has gotten dull after about 6 uses. Package shows and says the bits have a "three flats shank" to prevent slipping. However, the shank is completely cylindrical - no flats. Strange they would go to the trouble of printing this on the package when it is not true for these particular bits.

These bits made drilling multiple holes in a tile chimney for a TV mount very easy.

I didn't know what to expect with tile. Needed 12 holes in shower tile for 2 grab bars. Drilled much faster than I anticipated. Gave 5 stars for durability but I only drilled 12 holes. The last hole was as easy as the first but that's obviously not a durability test. I didn't want to imply I knew the durability wasn't 5 star by giving it less than 5 if that makes any sense.

Couple other places online gave these Bosch bits a good review. There's also a you tube video comparing them to the cylinder style diamond cut bits which shows these bits ripping through tile. So I was expecting great things. I drilled two 5/16 holes. Each hole took me about 5 minutes to drill. It required steady pressure and a helper spraying water on the bit to keep it cool. So yes these bits do work, but they require a lot of patience and time from the user. One note, the package says for glass and ceramic tile. My tile is porcelain, which these bits are NOT recommend for. That's probably why they didn't work easily. Maybe you'll have better luck. On a positive note, these bits started into the tile very easy with zero tile hop. So I got a nice clean hole on the first attempt.

Can’t speak for longevity, but wow, these drill bits did a great job for my first use! They worked like a warm knife slicing butter, smooth and quick work. Found this little guy on a Target run. Wanted to plant directly into his little body because mini pots were not stable enough. I used the smallest bit for his little feet and I was so afraid he’d break. But no worries! The tiny bit smoothly and quickly ground the perfect size holes. So happy how my little planter turned out. For the price, about $9, I would buy these again if they started to wear down. Worth every penny. 🙌🏼

I broke a pot by using standard drill bits, to drill a drainage hole for my plants. I found this set, and so far I have successfully drilled three clay pots for a draining hole. I even drilled a hole in a coffee mug and now it houses a plant. LOVE these! I did look up how to use these, and it says to use water so it doesn’t get too hot, which I did. Because it does get very, very hot drilling through clay.
