## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the big wall flap for?**
A: When you push down on the broom against the side of the pool, the big flat pushes against the water and forces the brush against the sides of the bottom of the pool. Allows one to brush the sides of the pool using only one hand, instead of one hand pushing down on the broom and the second hand keeping the brush against the wall of the pool.

**Q: bristles fall out after 1 yr.?**
A: I've had mine for 5 yrs now. Bristles never fell out, but now down to about 3/4-1" long. I've replaced the plastic tangs several times and had to cut the end of my extension pole several times. Just slide a piece of matching PVC inside, put in a V block and drill the 1/4" hole--only two poles in 18 yrs.

**Q: Does this come in a wire brush option ?**
A: I pool brush made of metal wire would probably scratch the plaster.   This would allow dirt and algae to stick better, which would not be good.

**Q: Can the flapper be attached to a new brush when needed?**
A: Yes it can. You simply unscrew the screws that attached it to the brush. There is a total of four total screws. Attach it to the new brush head in the same spot. The screws that come with the brush will eventually corrode or strip off. When that happens I recommend using the deck-tite screws from home depot. These really grip into the brush head plastic and will not corrode. The brush will usually break before the flapper.
