eXon Commerce uPVC Replacement Door Handle Springs Cassette Pair - Stop Sagging Handles

When I opened up our door handle I found no springs fitted. Door had operated on spring internal to UPVC frame for 15 years then they failed and a 30 degree angle of dangle. Ordered this product afer checking you tube for ways to fix my door handle. I had to trim one side of the spring plastic frame to match circular profile of door handle (Stanley knife and sandpaper does the trick in 10mins). Product needs to have the springs greased lightly and after a couple of days operations it loosens up nicely and works smoothly returning handle to horizontal position on opening or deadbolt locking, Excellent product. A few quid saved a couple of hundred had I called out a double glazed door repairman. Simple job. Worth opening up the door handle before buying the product to measure up clearances and remember if it is a couple of mm too tall then it can be trimmed.

Great replacement internal springs. This is easy to fit and good value for money as It saves you from having to replace the the entire handle

Nice product. With some door handles the six side pillars will need removing, either by cutting or filling. The resulting handle pressure very firm if both units are fitted.

Fix my loose door handle, ive had trouble with the ones that came with the door snapping over time and these are an ideal replacement and work just fine

I didn’t realise that my handles were so narrow The cassettes came with small knibbs on them for a wider arrangement After cutting them off they fitted perfectly making the handles as good as new

I purchased these to replace my old ones on my upvc door handles. I had to remove the little tit's on both sides of them to get them to fit but this was not a problem. My door handles are now as good as new well happy, and at a good price to.

bought these as a replacement for damaged ones and for about 18 months they worked okay but slowly they started to fail same as the previous ones

You need to know the dimensions of the space where this device can go. It was necessary to remove some material and the springs were too weak to return the handle. It might work on another type of door and is cheap, so I kept it.
