If you wear body armor I strongly suggest you get yourself a pair of these. Plain and simple, they work. No matter what I've tried in the past, I just couldn't get the odor out of my vest. I wash the carrier weekly. I spray the ballistic panels with Febreeze or Lysol. Air everything out but a faint odor always remains and the next time I wear the vest the odor returns. I just went through the cleaning routine again but this time I slipped these insoles in between the ballistic panel and the carrier. I'm just now finishing my first twelve hour shift using these and I've got to say WOW! These insoles removed all the odor from my vest and kept it from coming back. I don't know how long this set will last but when they wear out, I'll be buying another set! Don't waste your money buying any expensive bio-spray type deodorizer. Just get these.
