Lovely book, however the quality of the packaging was abysmal and the book arrived very damaged.

As per the review title, this is a very informative book that is also very entertaining, a fun read for all musicians and music lovers.  For example, if you have ever wondered what exactly is meant by music study,  performance, as well as listening to music aiding brain function by "lighting up a large percentage of your brain", this is your chance to find out precisely what that means.  Entertaining anecdotes and serious science well presented.  As he has previously demonstrated on several occasions, the author seems incapable of writing a book that is not fully satisfying and well worth reading.  I would highly recommend it to all who have an interest in music, or in brain function.  Or just enjoy reading extremely well written material, for that matter.
